Just from looking at that picture it seems like it may be hard to tell if the wheat is fully grown and is ready for harvesting. Maybe make the final growth stage more yellowish than the middle stages?

I might make the final stage a big dark or change the highlights a bit, but I've tried yellowish/orange a few times and it never seems to look right.
I'll mess around with it tomorrow, right now I'm going to bed.
Aza, what is the new lava texture supposed to look like? I loaded your update but the lava looks like basic lava with no added texture.
Well everything else patterned to much.
This look like regular lava where the surface has had little bits cool down.
IMO it looks really nice in caves and lava pools.
Almost radioactive =P
idk I just prefer my lava to be bright and very very hot looking.
But if people want the other one back I can add it as an optional.
EDIT: Also here is a new picture of a fully grown crop field.. I rather like how it turned out. It blends nicely with the surround textures.
OK fine.. I'll try and make the lava like you guys requested. But over the next few days I am moving house so my updates may slow down for a week or so.
Aza, please only listen to our requests if you agree with us. This is your pack and your vision and even though I may offer a lot of opinions, don't let me derail what you are trying to accomplish.
Good luck with the move and don't worry about updates. You deserve a break. :smile.gif:
I heard about this texture pack while reading the Obsidian Block and decided to try it. Just wanted to say that I was blown away!! I spend a lot of time carving a house into a mountain side and after seeing it for the first time with this texture pack my jaw dropped! Keep up the good work. Minecraft looks fantastic now and it still feels "minecrafty". Some screenshots of other texture packs dont look to good. This one's a keeper.
If I would change one thing I guess it would be the minerals like coal ore, etc. I like the idea of the chunks but maybe try a combination of the original so the pieces are dispersed within the block more as opposed to one big chunk in the middle. When they are tiled, I think the originals feel a bit better for me for some reason. Other than that, fantastic! Glad I found this.

I might try that..
Little flecks and chunks just to give away the fact its an ore.
wikuland easiest way is a fresh install.. also textures need to be installed before other mods.
To other peoples:
I'm looking to add placeholders for items/moon/sun/etc.... before I can get around to them.
You guys can help me out by submitting textures I can use till I make my own.
Only submit your own work unless you have permission by the owner to do otherwise.
I would prefer items that aren't to fancy but more realistic.
Any help is greatly appreciated thanks!
Help Request:
Anyone who is willing to help can test my experimental foliage biome colors, Only use this if you are already using the rest of my texture pack otherwise the outcome won't be right.
Just put this in your mincraft.jar/misc directory
After you try it out for a bit in SP or on a Server just leave me feedback to how it looked and the transitions/proportions.
Thanks for any help you guys can give!
BTW the purple are supposed to be something like a jacaranda tree.
EDIT: Here is just a small preview of what I'm testing.
EDIT: Also you can see here I still plenty of biome variety with the added jacaranders.

This is what my lava looks like:
And to be honest, something like this is what I have in my mind that lava should be:
And if you tile it, it doesn't look that bad:
Hey, did you happen to see my PM?

Great job on this.
How is your server so amazing? On the server I played on, it was just a bunch of random construction projects, never anything like this.
