Those new chests look sexy with that handle. Overall, very nicely detailed. Looking forward to it.

If you can't find the META-INF folder then you're looking at the wrong file.
Exit Minecraft. Go to C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin\ and you'll see a couple of .jar files:
lwjgl.jar
lwjgl_util.jar
jinput.jar minecraft.jar
You need to open the last one (in bold letters), delete the META-INF folder, close WinRAR then apply the fix using mcpatcher-1.1.7.exe.
However, if you're sure you're looking at the right minecraft.jar file and there is no META-INF folder or this doesn't work, delete the file called version (it's located in the same C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin\ directory) then start Minecraft. It will re-download the minecraft.jar which is probably messed up.
Then follow the instructions in my previous post, right from step 1)
I've never been able to fine the META-INF folder in the minecraft.jar folder but I've been able to get all my mods working =/
Nothing. I only used Cartograph a number of times but I doubt that did anything.
- I can play MC fine, also with the texture pack but does this kind of texture pack require (much) more CPU/GPU power?
- MC isn't the heaviest game ofcourse but does having more RAM or a good GPU help alot?
Just wondering.
Bit the same questions but hey. :tongue.gif:
A good CPU always helps so does ram but don't get excessive about it like lots of people today.
Try not to install lots of widgets and useless applications that run in the background all the time.
Duel Core will definitely be a big advantage over single but quad won't make much of a difference compared to Duel.
Ram is always good but you wouldn't need to much. On a 32bit system its good to have at least 4gig of Duel channeled ram. Your system will only allocate about 3.2gig of memory and that includes video memory but it will take even amounts of processes from every stick of ram.
An average graphic card would help nothing to fancy.
The CPU draw the wire frame so in a game like this that's probably the most important part. My guess is Ram is the second most important and graphic card the least important part (but still not to be neglected).
Higher textures require more ram to load them into so if you have a small amount it mind hinder performance.
It really depends on the state of your system and what gear you have. It could any one of the 3 main components that can cause lag and in most cases its the weakest link.
Aza, while running away from angry Ghasts in the Nether (then falling into a huge river of lava, dying a horrible death and losing all my items) I noticed that some mushrooms have a thin line hanging in the air, right next to them. Also found and fixed the problem:
Looked at copperdomebodha's terrain.png and this line isn't there. He might've fixed it some time ago.

Xau's HD patcher removes this folder for you. If you revert the entire game you'd see it, but then you'd just delete it anyway. So long as it is not inside of your minecraft.jar it's all good.
I definitely like the darker bricks better, but you could just have two versions. One with light bricks, and one with the darker ones for those who prefer the lighter ones.

Hope you don't mind, but I'm making a 16x16 version of this for personal use. It is actually converting quite well (But is still unfinished, as you can see):

I don't like the brick so much. Its too...I dunno.
I prefer the more whole stone look if you get my point. Its to industrial looking I suppose. It doesn't feel that MC'ie anyway. And it doesn't look as "persian" as some people call it as the other blocks you made.

Though I did think cobble and sand looked to much a like.
And @aza/pc question. I'm getting a new pc anyway next januari or so with a MAXimum €1500,- budget (incl. Windows 7 prof, gamingkeyboard and screen) or so I suppose.. May Payne 3, Deus Ex 3, Brink etc. But mostly for Minecraft ofc!!!
I'll put a few different brick types in for people to choose from!
Also when buying a PC do a lot of research on what parts to get, well planned PCs tend to perform better then spending spree ones! Good luck!
I see you have added an alternate cracking texture :biggrin.gif: I like it. Also, an alternate brick. Think you could throw up some screenshots showing the alternate brick? I just wanna get a glimpse of it. But I will stick to the darker version, it looks much better. Really, if EVERYTHING were gonna be all light and white etc, i'd be a little colorblind really. So I like it that you have made something dark, YET it fits in :wink.gif:

yeh I actually though I had added the alternate cracking texture ages ago but somehow I accidentally made the layer it was on invisible so when I saved it wasn't there.
The alt bricks are the original ones I had (or close to it) for people who preferred them.
I might add a few different cobblestone version. (grey, bleached, sandstone).
If you are going to make more alternative versions of different blocks, maybe try making them have a theme connected. Like, not just randomly throw around alternatives, but yeah, do as you please :smile.gif:

Kewl thanks I'll fix that next time I'm editing.

It's going right to the bottom.
Tell me what you think!

Actually I don't remember... about when I did the iron doors I think.

Kewlio maybe when your done you can give me a heads up! I could put it in my first post and give you credit for the conversion!
