Really nice texture pack, I'm not really into such high definition textures but I must admit that this one gives the game a very egyptian/mid-eastern feel, which I personally like a lot. Apart from the base idea, the textures themselves are very well made and blend well with each other..
Oh my god. This is just... fantastic. Keep up the FANTASTIC work! I hope you'll release the finished product soon, because this... Is just magnificent. I'm a little weak for sandy'themed stuff etc, so this just hits the spot : D
It will be exciting to see what you will do to the Nether blocks : )
Hmmmmmm... this new world generation is producing spectacular results...

Glad you like it!
I hope I can come up with some good stuff for the nether regions (lol)..
Hoping to get a bit done every day so it shouldn't be too long before I'm finished!
Then I can give this thread an overhaul and remove all the outdated pics.
Yes... yes I do... It sometimes makes me feel like I'm in one of those survivor shows (never watched them) or lost on some tropical island.
I'm really happy how dirt, sand and water mix together.
With the bright bleached beach sand to the aquamarine crystal clear water... it could almost be paradise except for the creaperssssssssssss-
Hi. I made this account so I could comment on this thread
I think this is the greatest texture pack ive ever used. I really like the fact that its detailed but not detailed-ugly like other HD packs
Sorry for double post
I didnt look through the actual texture pack and all the textures earlier. When i saw the blocks (especialiy diamond) i was just 0.0 holy ****!
this mod is great, keep up the good work!

That problem is with the post hallowed HD fix and they should be fixing soon.

Before I bought Alpha I tried to make a texture pack like this for Classic, but this...Is just f**king awesome work.
Only problem I see is the reeds (or bamboo, or whatever) look, high def... a little too high def and they don't look much like reeds
OTHER THAN THAT...Epic!
Do you mean how I made the trees bamboo?
Or the actual reeds?
because I haven't made my own reeds yet those are someone elses =P
Thanks for the compliments though!
I'm getting lots of people saying really good stuff about my work which is very encouraging.
Keep up the good work people hahahaha.
lol that would be kewl!
I just put the latest version of my textures on my first post you may need to refresh the image to see the newest version.
I'm gonna watch a few of your vids now.
You might need the HD fix. I posted a link in my first post.
It allows the use of texture packs that are bigger then 32x32 (mine being 128x128)
Place them in the misc folder in your .minecraft/bin/mincraft.jar file.
This is just a quick fix and I'll probably improve upon these in the future with better contrast and variants.
Sweet I'll go watch it now! Then I gotta get crackin and do all the new blocks textures so there not invisible! =S
EDIT: Lol interesting house you built there.... The music sounds like some oldschool Club stuff I use to listen to.
I made brittle gold or whatever it's called.
May need to refresh because I replace my old terrain.png with new one on my server.

However hopefully you can help me. when I install this and other texture packs above 16x16 the nethergate goes.... weird; http://img251.imageshack.us/img251/175/49550861.png

lol ok kewl.
I haven't actually come across snow yet in the game so when I do it will prompt me to stop being lazy and do it myself.
I'm taking a break from doing the textures right now because I feel like playing minecraft for a bit.
Do hunger strikes apply to greediness when it comes to wanting a texture pack? If so, Quesedilla night is cancelled.
I will release both version of the glass. I'm sort of taking a break at the moment so that's why I haven't updated this in a few days.
I'll try and get a decent amount done tomorrow.
