I really like where you're going with this! Very nice and high key. Looks like it wants to be used in an Indiana Jones adventure! The chests are really nice and I particularly like the iron work on the windows and iron doors. I always prefer items that look believably craft-able in the MC world.
Not sure about the trees. Have you looked at Cypress?
I wasn't being snarky at all earlier. Anything I share here is open for anyone to re-use however they want. I'm glad someone found something helpful!
I love his wood textures <3. I really do like the look and feel of this pack, and I shall be using it :happy.gif:. I really like how he is making this style, mainly because I primarily love to build in deserts :biggrin.gif:.
I don't suppose you would ever consider putting the old water back in, would you? I used to love the bright color of it in contrast to the more barren look of the land.
Wow! This Really Does look Arid! Beautiful Work. ME DOWNLOAD NOW

The terrain is awesome great job on it, But you could change the mob textures and some of the items textures everything else is awesome hope i helped :smile.gif:
Looks more like stone now and less like the worlds largest piece of sand. I never quite liked the look of sandstone in the default game, nor in most packs because it always looks like a solid, seamless piece of sand. Real sandstone is rocks that have been worn down by the sand over the course of time, not hunks of sand frozen in a cube shape. If anything, a more realistic cube of sandstone would look similar to cobble than actual bricks. Would be nice if you could do half step/double half step like that design and full sandstone like a sandy cobble, but I know that's impossible with the way it pulls from the terrain file. So I approve of the design. It looks good and works well with the player made sandstone.

Also I whipped up a little ender dwelling!
OOPS wasn't supposed to put this in a separate reply.

I've been raving about your pack all over my server's forums, so here's to hoping that got you a few extra cents from the DL's. Keep up the good work!
Omg thanks a lot!
Definitely going to put it in the op.
I'll try it
I was going to create an idea on get satisfaction but a few similar ones came up.
The only one that made sense was this one!

Basically it's to stop X-Ray texture packs. Please help me get it noticed!

I'm working on sandstone.. cause I felt like it!
I don't actually play minecraft at the moment, I'm waiting for the official damn release!
What do you think?
I used the Assassin's Creep world to test it out because it has a great abundance of sandstone everywhere!
