Either way...this group of folks you have here WILL be the voice of the pack. Will try to keep it 30's and within the scope of the PnP RPG I played at least. I was a pugilist that tried to outbox the creeps...didn't work

"This may hurt a little, but it's something you'll get used to...."
Speaking of good ol' fisticuffs, I've taken with our current mobs.
On a flat, enclosed plane here is how they fare;
Zombies - not very challenging, as they rush, you swing,
Skeletons - Wasn't able to see how this came out, I think the arrow in my eye may have something to do with that. don't try to box these,
Spiders - If you can be sure to hit them at just the right moments, it's all just a matter of timing, but as soon as you drop your guard, these buggers eat'cha,
Creepers - No, don't. Only attempt this if you are good with a sword, and have plenty of backpedaling space. Their ungentlemanly conduct shows that you have to be very lucky to beat one hand to hand.
We're putting a news blurb up on our page for this mod. Hopefully it'll send some traffic your way Glimmar. We already posted it on the Brass Goggles Steampunk forums.

Lol! Glad you're feeling better mate, and back with a sense of humour too!

Wow! That's very decent of you, mate, Grateful for that. I know folks love your music here, so I would hope some traffic has come your way too! :smile.gif:
Did you see the vids with your music at the top? I'm expecting there will be many more, as and when folks finish off their epic construction projects.
Also I don't know if you read above that, Gestankfaust, is intending to make a 'Call of Cthulhu' pack which you might also be interested in!
I'm getting snowed under here so I'm disappointed I've not made more personal use of your music with my own build. Building in Minecraft seems a distant memory now! :sad.gif:
Alright I appear to be having some issues now that I started a hamachi server. Whenever I patch the texture pack with Xau's patcher, I can't connect to my own server. Any idea why? If so, how can I fix it?

See above.
Sorry, GS.
Wasn't ignoring you. I don't have any experience of multiplayer, excepting occasionally playing on my son's own closed server, I prefer single play most of the time...much to his disgust. Both of us now use beta, he uses a different texture than mine, but we don't experience any difficulty with xau's patcher and playing MP.
I'm a complete noob when it comes to servers, etc. I think someone else with more experience of that side of things will have to help. I'm assuming this is not just happening with my texture pack? I can't imagine how my pack could effect things, so assuming it's something to do with xau's patcher, any thoughts anyone? :smile.gif:
Ah, just thought! You're not trying to use MaudDib's Vehicles mod and the steamer boat? I think he says in his thread it doesn't work in multiplayer yet. However, I've played on my son's server with the mod installed and everything was ok, but I never got round to trying to build a steam boat there. No re-reading your post you can't connect...so it's obviously not that! :sad.gif:
I didn't think you were ignoring me, I thought maybe other people posted a lot and you may have just missed it. Oh well. I'll look for some other places for help.

Okay, I'm just wondering if you can send a reply with the most up to date things on the steampunk texture packs and mods. I don't really want to go searching for them I have a lot on my plate right now and don't want to send too much free time on a search. That would be nice if you could do that for me. thanks, bye. <3
I'm not going to be in for a few days, folks. Too much to catch up on and I'm just plain exhausted at the moment with burning the candle at both ends. Work and family...you know the drill!
I'll try to have some new stuff when I return + all the promised stuff when it gets packaged up! :sad.gif:

A month ago i was saying this pack was sexy. At this point its having sex with my eyes.
Keep up the awesome work.
Thanks for the encouragement, sexykorn. Much appreciated. :smile.gif:
Well I searched the classes to find the one for the more paintings mod, but to no avail maybe I was just too tired, lol Notch and his scrambling ^^
Here is a slight new variation of the steamboat as I found it too bright for my liking and the theme (personal opinion) so I put more wood into it and darkened the red of the paddles and added a gold/brass ring on the chimney as I have seen similiar on riverboats.
@Tiger4Ruler - I actually am in the middle of the hoes, I just haven't much mine to work on them at them at the moment (midterm exam week here).
I'm also not able to remember what Glimmar wanted for diamond armor, but I remember suggesting that we try an inventor's outfit, but completely outfitted with diamond skeletonwork, and redstone contraptions. But that was just me.
Can't wait to see what new steampunk block they'll become!
Hooray! Colored blocks are back! There's a new variety of trees, and looks like there's a new ore, too. I imagine it is either for the music blocks or the new dyes for cloth. I'll have to do some exploring myself.
The new water mobs are squid! They drop ink!
Only one way to steampunk squids:
New land-mob! There's always a black sheep in the family...
New texture for Furnace tops and furnace backs! We are free of the tyranny of smooth-stone!
Cake! Looks like we can make another kind of half-block. Mahogany tables, anyone?
New sand textures! That means new building materials!
Bones! Flower petals! Bluestone dust! New items galore!
Note blocks! Build your own pipe-organ!
This was a huge update, glad to see Notch hasn't forgotten us
Don't forget the dispenser, the awesome device which fires out whatever you place in it, just add power. (with this, you can create a wall of turrets with just dispensers and a bunch of pressure plates.)(and arrows)

All right everyone, if we don't buy Lamborghinis for one day, the price will go way down and then we can all afford one. It's Economics!
