My English is poor
I can not wait to see your version 1.10
I always think that your work is the best I have ever seen a work
I have been using mincraft 1.25 version from your package to the current 1.10
This is my favorite
I'm working on some very big projects now, and I hope you can see if you have the time.
Finally, I wish you a happy life and work
As I'm waiting for the Wastelands 1.10.2 multiplayer to be fixed, I've decided to go back to 1.7.10 wastelands. I'd like to use Glimmars SteamPunk resource pack for it, but I can't find a 1.7.10 version.
The required pack version number was changed to "3" in pack.mcmeta.
Version 3 resource packs have to use lowercase filenames for everything."
Lol! Wish I'd read this before embarking on renaming all my CTM files and folders. Oh well...I've started now and it had to be done at some stage as everything is always very confusing to me whenever I come back to working on the pack again after time away. Took me ages to figure out what was wrong and being tired at the end of a busy day I just kept giving up in frustration!
As you mention...everything has to have lowercase applied to it...so unfortunately quite a few animated paintings, and I'm assuming animated guis and such too, where I've also used uppercase letters (being the genius I am...not!), have also been effected. So I'm having to go through all of those too!
Real life is a turmoil of hard labor at the moment, but as you can see from the top comment above, I'm back to 'tinkering' again. Can't say anything more than that at this stage. Don't get your hopes up too soon.

I'm always aware that anyone still interested in my pack has been waiting a long time for an update, and I'm truly sorry for that. Although Glimmar's Steampunk is way behind in terms of the updates Mojang brought out in 2016, there is still a lot of new stuff I've already completed that you might be interested in, unfortunately it's all currently broken with the latest Optifine updates. Not having working ctm nearly put me off ever working on the pack again late last year.
I'll also apologise in advance for not being able to check in here as often as I would like. It's probably better I direct what little spare time I have to trying to get the pack back in some kind of working order for the future. I'm not disinterested or being purposefully ignorant.
I am still alive though...there is that! And, when I can play it with a working GS texture pack, I am still very captivated by Minecraft.
Glad to hear from you, I too am waiting for your updates.... when you are ready to release it I would like to get permission to make a MCPE version. I have been working on other texture packs so I know how to rename certain files to make them work in the pocket edition.
I am glad to hear that, while all is not well, you are still alive and ticking. I would just like to say that your texture pack is, without question, my absolute favorite, and I've been sinking too many hours into minecraft since 2011. I cannot put into words what exactly it is about your pack, but it just transcends the usual minecraft experience. The biomes look so much better with your resources. My favorite places are the jungles (Using your old resources I mean, the pipes are neat and all, but I need ma trees, man), how weird is that? This packs greatest strengths lay in the industrial feel, but makes the natural world so much richer as well. I refuse to use anything else in the building of my cities, much to the annoyance of my friends, because it makes even the most mundane structures feel like they really are buildings, with masonry, steel supports and warm oak floors.
I am so excited for the next update, and hope you find as much joy in making these textures and resources as I do in using them to make cities and machines that could not exist anywhere else.
Minecraft 1.12 looks very promising...just been having a quick look...with colored concrete and terracotta blocks and all. This could at last be the answer to my strange array of mesa blocks, in that I could convert my ctm hardened clay blocks back to natural textures and move my variety of bricks and odd architectural selections over to concrete and terracotta. I realize this would mean a lot of time and effort would need to go into converting your worlds (my own included), but it would seem to be the sensible way to go to have both a good range of feature blocks as well as a natural looking world...especially in mesa biomes.

does this support shaders?
This resource pack soes not have normal maps for it's textures, but apart with that - it does not interfere any shaders.
However, why even bother with shaders, when you have Glimmar's Steampunk? Jusk look at the sunset
I am really looking forward to this update
keep up the good work
I updated the inventory screen for survival and creative mode in version 1.10.
Survival has the offhand slot now and the creative inventory was rearranged to look like 1.10.
You can just drop this in the Glimmars Steampunk \assets\minecraft\textures\gui\container folder if you want to use them.

Curse PremiumVery impressive builds, very well done, I also like scifi and Glimmars resourcepack, perhaps you want to try this one some times:

Any updates on the next update Glim?
That looks impressive! Have you tried playing Space Engineers? You'll be able to fly such thing!
Slight change in resource packs causes ctm to stop working if there's uppercase letters in folder/file names.
Easy/temp fix I've found which uses PowerShell.
just change directory to "WIP Glimmars Steampunk v17"
and the script will set everything inside to lowercase letters.

Does the 1.7.4 version work with 1.7.10?
Version 17 works just as well for 1.7.10
Any word on the next update?
