Hey Glim, I've been using your texture pack for quite a while now, and I love it! I was watching one of your new vids for version 8/9 and I saw a texture you had of a stone head kind of thing in the video about temples and such. I was just wondering, what block is that? I noticed that the chiseled stone bricks is what you were using for the columns they were resting on, so I was just wondering what block that is? I'd like to use it thanks.
Glimmar had the Gray Wool for that, but as a number of people complained, he removed it and added it as an extra in the folder. Just look around in the pack folder until you find it, and it should have instructions on how to use it to replace another texture.

ic2/sprites/item_0.png - Stripped out the stolen items and replaced with brand new ones I made. Not sure about the Hops texture though. It's from the old pack and i've no idea where it's from. I'll replace it when I make a suitable replacement just to be sure.
ic2/sprites/block_0.png - This is pretty much the same as the old one with some non-vanilla textures.
dan200/turtle/client/turtle.png - Brand new Turtle textures
railcraft/client/textures/railcraft.png - Recycled a few old ones in there, like the infernal brick texture and the signal lamps. The rest is all new though.
railcraft/client/textures/machines.png - Aside from the Blast Furnace, everything here is new content.
I still haven't finished the tracks for railcraft, but I should be done tomorrow.
gregtech is half done. I'd post what I have now, but it's got faithful 32x placeholders.

Looking good! Thanks for replacing those textures, as I don't have much spare time at the moment. I'm currently debating what to do with the old sheet, as we had two different items sheets submitted by different users. I may just plop this one in and remove the others, as the one had the metals that you mentioned, and I think the other had suspicious-looking paint-brushes (wasn't sure if original creation or from another pack). I should probably try to get input from CuZnDragon and StringBurka on authenticity of the textures, and see what Glimmar has to say. Personally, I'm thinking I'll probably cut both of the earlier ones until I can get some confirmation… but as your version seems mostly complete, I doubt it'll be much of a loss. I'll probably put the Glimmar-inspired textures in as alts tho…
the link for both the 32x textures are broken please please fix them you texture pack is AMAZING and i would love to use it
Are you sure it's broken? I can see and access both just fine. Might it be blocked on your end, either by the ISP or the computer itself?
Also, Glimmar, just a heads up, it looks like RapidShare has changed their layout. There's only a single clearly marked Download button to worry about now, so you could probably remove the note on the links.
After 4 weeks of inaction, I am finally warming up to Minecraft once more. Thaumcraft 3 is out, and I am planning to do work on it - who else wants to stand with me?

What i meaned was that is a another texture, it's the same zombie but with another texture. Don't u see that the texture pack have random mobs?
I don't think you understand what I meant, I mean some sides of the head and body have textures, other sides are invisible. It's not one of the zombies with missing parts, or something, but rather seems to be bad texture placement by optifine.

Just so you know all the items of mine that you removed were not stolen. They were made from scratch or modified from Glimmar's work. So I want an apology in your statement that I stole items.

Really? Using google images is "made from scratch"? Photorealistic ingots and dust are found in glimmar's texture pack??
Here is a comparisson of LB_Photorealism's Gold Ingot to YOUR "made from scratch" refined iron, copper, tin and bronze ingots.
They are almost completely identical. Some slightly darker shading on the back end can easily be attributed to using the Hue & Saturation > Colorize function of photoshop.
Also, you used lots of default and/or faithful as placeholders which violates glimmar's rules on using other's texture packs, default or no.
Just for the record, I'm going to let Glimmar make the decision on this matter, and I will refrain from uploading the latest version of the mod retextures until it is resolved to everyone's satisfaction.
However, judging by Glimmar's recent inactivity, I'd have to guess that he either has a lot of Real Life™ stuff going on… or he's addicted to Feed the Beast.

Several updates for the Better Than Wolves Support have been released and only one animation needs to be textured before it is officially complete! Here is a link.
Also VermillionTwilight, I, personally, appreciate you bringing some textures into question, none of us want conflicts between TPs. However, do not try to gode arguments out of people here. Coming here with an update (which is welcome btw) and just saying "stripped stolen textures" with no explanation was an obvious attempt to get a reaction from CuZn or others here. Again, I myself appreciate the the new work and pointing out stolen textures, but please do not try to turn this into a hate fest.

I responded accordingly when CuZn demanded an apology and claimed that he made them from scratch himself and supplied irrefutable proof that he stole them, either from the LB pack itself or google images without checking. Neither of which involves "making" the texture.
I believe you, and it is a difficult situation to handle without making people irritated, but it seems to me that instead of pming sheep or CuZn and just posting an update saying textures are stolen is just asking for people to get angry.
In any case, thank you for your work and bringing attention to the issue, and I hope CuZn just wasn't aware of where the textures came from.

The lifelike ones started out from either pictures from pubilc domain sites, creative commons sites with the appropriate license, or pictures I took myself.
I am not sure what site LB Photorealism is but I know it is not one of the sites I got any images from.
LB Photorealism is another texture pack. I wouldn't be surprised if they used the same base model for their textures, which caused the confusion.
EDIT: I just looked at the yours and compared them to the other pack, and while I do agree that the outline of the bars are almost a perfect match, the color gradient is different (LB has a very nearly straight line at the point of gradient, while yours is curved). Similar differences are seen on the edge, with yours having a wider band of darker color than LB's.

But if you use the "Colorize" function of Photoshop, it changes it all to a single color, making the line appear thinner and blends in with the rest of the ingot.

btw, Forestry support. Apiarist Suit is temp atm. Once i've finished the actual armor sprite, i'll redo it to match. Might take a while. Xmas is a busy time...

The Colorize function doesn't physically change the line though. As ksheep pointed it out, the line is curved in CuZn's and not straight. Colorizing the photo, even if it does make the line appear thinner, is not going to make it curved.
Has anyone asked the maker of LB PR where he got his ingot from? Or if he made it?
