Then, look in the zip archive for a file titled "railcraft" - move this file into Glimmar's Steampunk Textures zip archive. The textures should load when you start off Railcraft.
WARNING:
We have not had time to work on Railcraft, so only partial support for v5.2.3 is currently available. The largest problems with Steampunk support for Railcraft are the bore heads, IC2-related stuff and the rails, as well as the need to update the files. If you are willing to help it would be great.

now im not making any promises, but i could look into making some textures for ic2 for you. i could probobly make a nice ole thyme divers suit out of the hazmat suit. only problem is my experience with 32x32 is minimal, and i have zero experience with 64x64. but i could definently try to give you some good concept textures at the very least. also, i made a patch for the ic2 texture support for personal use, all i did was add the vanilla textures added in the new update into the item gui's so there not purple icons. if you want i could post it on media fire with a link.
If you look at the second artifact from the right at the top level, you'd notice that it looks a bit like a round disc with a lion head. I would like to use this concept, adding highlights to make it look metallic. Coins will begin with simple markings (copper), which then progress all the way to ornate (gold). I already have the following planned:
Copper - simple concentric ring design, very scuffed around the edges
Silver - cross symbol, taken from one of your samples - this looks more presentable but tarnished.
Gold - Boudicca's head (we want to keep it as fantastic a setting, yet recogniseable British where possible)
Work on this however will be delayed for a while; I am sorting out my own non-Minecraft related mod as well as several other assignments; I just joined up with the National Museum as a galley slave *koff*koff* voluntary tour guide.
Will Optifine Work with this or do I have to use MC Patcher?
Also...Say I wanted to use the Mod-version for say..tekkit. Is any patcher required since optifine is in tekkit?
This is an Amazing Texture Pack however I am against using McPatcher unless Absolutely necassary.
Good Work!
Some would shout me down but I would suggest Optifine - always install Optifine last once all your mods, along with Forge and ModLoader are in place. I have run a remix using this pack and it isn't affect one bit.
LATEST: 64x coins will be furnished for this texture pack soon. I am still not confident that I can achieve the level of quality that this pack requires, so drafts will be created first. On a brighter note, I realise that I DO have plenty of materials...
Yes, Optifine works just fine. The only reason Glimmar suggests MCPatcher is that he uses MCP and most new texture pack features first show up on MCP and are then ported over to Optifine.
"Oh cool, some of the villagers are robots. That's pretty sw- JESUS CHRIST THEY BLINK AND THEIR MOUTHS MOVE THAT'S TERRIFYING"
Some of the skins in this texture pack really crawl out of uncanny valley. Mainly the Zombie Pigman textures, Zombies and Villagers. It fits in with the steampunk theme eerily well.
Anyway, I hope to make a steampunk adventure map using this texturepack and maybe a mod or two in the near future. The creepy mob skins will definetely help with the plot I have in mind.
Haha! Glad you like the work and many thanks for saying.
I look forward to seeing what you do with your adventure, GingerNinjaSam. My idea with the villagers and such (and I intend to add many more characters...if MC and MC Patcher would just slow down creating so many cool things to texture) was to have as many diverse characters as possible, exactly for the purpose of creating adventures, or in my case atmospheric movies, etc.
Get back to me on the adventure and perhaps I can include a link in my OP. My adventure/map section there is looking pretty sparse as of late.

So long as it's original artwork or using my textures (but see 'conditions' in the 'Mod Section' in my OP) then all is welcome and hopefully ksheep can use it for his 'Mod Texture Compilation Pack' download. Thanks in advance.

I wish you well on all those projects and nice to hear about the tour guide position. My former life was in the field of Museums and Galleries and I know full well the sterling work you guys do.
The coin and ideas are great. As you say, British but with flair and imagination!

Yep! As ksheep and SunWukong say, it should work fine with Optifine... barring the odd thing not being quite the same or not ported over from MC Patcher. Due to time constraints, familiarity, and testing of weekly snapshots, I only use MC Patcher and don't have the time to test it with Optifine, sorry.
Glad you like the pack and many thanks for the kind words.

Aku bukan warga British, aku rakyat Malaysia!
(I'm not British; I'm Malaysian - and I was actually talking about Muzium Negara lar, not the National Museum in London )
Trust me, it's not as good as it sounds, I just began training last Saturday, and I learnt a whole lot more stuff about the museum which I wished I never knew - if you knew what I knew even you would shudder in fear. I will work on your coins (esp the deniers bronze, first) tonight, nevertheless.
Coins for Millenaire and other mods are now ready:
As you can see, we now have three sets of coins - a mean-looking and scruffy bronze, a slick-looking silver and an opulent-looking goid denier, with Britannia emblazoned on it (hooray for adolescent-era scribbling). I'm sure Glimmar and others will be looking forward to enhancing their numismatic collection!
I finally got some time to myself today and was fiddling with the final GUI for BTW but Im having a problem. I am having an extremely hard time getting machinery to look nice out of its original GUI and find myself using the same parts again and again, which bothers me to no end! Does anyone have a site for good resolution machine parts ( Ive googled a bit but cant find anything I like) or perhaps do you have any random parts lying around Glimmar? Dont mean to beg for content but Im in a bind atm.

Where a is a texture pack for the train mod?
To us the texture pack support you will need to download this file: http://www.mediafire.com/?g9lqs1kzq0685g0

Curse PremiumSorry, I missed your post in my big round up above!
You could try this: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/547050-sky-eden-steampunk-artistic-aeronautical-adventure/
It makes use of, or did use, my texture pack, and the gentlemanly way it's administered comes highly recommended.
