I'll check them out on my system shortly.
OK, everyone. I'll try to get the latest mod compilation pack out later today. I realize that CuZnDragon is still working on IC2 stuff, but I think it's more important to get the main body of work out now, and I may release a smaller update in the next week or so with any new IC2 stuff. I've just got to fix up some RailCraft things and I'll get it up.
IC2 item_0.png corrected silver powder, clay powder, and uranium ingot colors.
changed industrial diamond to look like animated diamond.
Edit1: update iron dust; cf pellet and sprayer; hydrated coal and compressed hydrated coal; compressed plant ball; red and blue transmitter switches; dynamite and sticky dynamite; matter ball; white sheet; composite sheet; composite armor; nano armors; compressed coal; fertilizer, hops.
Edit3: changed tin cans, added the ore detector and ore value meters, reinforced door item, detector wire and splitter wire
IC2 block_0.png updated copper, bronze and tin blocks
Edit2: updated construction foam, iron scaffold top, and blast doors
Simple Ores terrain.png updated the copper, silver, onyx, mythril, and adamantite blocks and onyx ore.
Simple Ores items.png: updated the adamantite ingot

Alright, those sheets have been added. I took a look at the other stuff you were saying was acting oddly. The only thing I noticed was that some of them appeared to have their bottoms on top when in inventory or in hand, but they appeared correctly when placed. I also noticed that the top of the reactor chambers were appearing as default, but I don't think that was on either of the sheets you had added. It may be using a texture from the block_0 sheet that wasn't replaced.
EDIT: Glim, it seems like there is a new block as of this week's snapshot. The Beacon Block. It is currently still in development, and there is a chance that it will change before it's officially added, but you might want to start thinking of ways to implement it. It adds a block and GUI, along with some icons.
FURTHER EDIT: I forgot to mention another new block, the Command Block.
I'm not entirely sure. It seems like Proloe had originally provided some textures some time ago, but he had sent them directly to Glimmar, who had included them on the OP. However, it seems like they have since been taken down. Not sure where they are now, but if I could get my hands on them, I'd probably add them to the compilation pack.

Since Steamcraft has stopped development and Glimmar has asked others not to include his work in any forks of further development my be a reason they disappeared. I have been playing around with the source code to see if I could get working but haven't been able to put much time to it.
Just a note, some of the textures may not be up to date with the latest version of their respective mods. I was planing on checking this out, but various RL things have come up, and I don't have the time. Most noticeable is RailCraft, which had changed the layout of everything not to long ago, which means that
IF YOU USE RAILCRAFT, READ BELOW!!!
RailCraft will currently work with Tekkit and any versions of RailCraft older than 5.3.3 (albeit with some vanilla textures)
HOWEVER - Technic will NOT work properly, since 5.4.7 has changed the layout of the texture files. I will try to work on fixing this in the next couple days, but as class is starting up, I may not have it done for some time.

Quick look in, in between finishing off a summer house I started last summer.
Many thanks, ksheep for all the hard work and to each and every contributor for the above mod support.
I will update the OP with this soon and with a new update of my own.
A new MC update (1.3.2) and updated MC Patcher has garbled the HD font letter spacing again! My update 7 will fix this, as much as is humanly possible with my choice of font. I am also including a new hi-rez starfield background. Hi-rez daytime sky will come later, but I thought some of you might want to gaze at my new stars sooner than later...or perhaps not!
Woah Glimmar, that night sky takes my breath away it is so amazing! And its good to see that the new compilation is out Sheep
Sorry there have been no updates from me in quite a while, I have been off in the mountains throwing boulders around and pouring concrete (Tons of fun).
Well I guess Ill go slave away on some GUI for a bit. Cant wait for that sky Glimmar
So I ran into something that I dont think you will like Glimmar...
These are the only offending letters I could discern from all of them but I saw a few which I couldn't decide whether they were missing part of a side or they were intended to be lopsided. I know how much trouble you went through to get the letter spacing right but I figured it had to be pointed out.
The screenshot was taken with MC 1.3.2 and Mcpatcher 2.4.1_03
It still needs a few carefully placed nebulae. My original arrangement of gas clouds was placed in what I thought was the top part of the sky...it turned out to be the bottom. So you might still see my original attempts at colourful gas clouds trailing off below the horizon at sunset, following the dying sun.
I'm working on a big steam punk project right now that hopefully will end up getting a lot of good feedback. I just managed to finish the smallest part of it. I'm using Glimmar's Steampunk since I first found out about it, has been a year I think...and I am really satisfied with the block textures you give us. They open so many possibilities for creating buildings and machines. Keep up the amazing work Glimmar! Forever your fan.
I would like to show you guys my project but I do not want to advertise ittoo much on a topic that should be for discussing a texture pack so I'll just leave images in a spoiler and a link to my project for those who feel like taking a look at it.[link]
Thank you for those kind words again, sicmap...they are much appreciated.
The project you're working on looks set to be very epic, glad the pack is still coming in useful. I certainly don't mind folk showing off their projects here using my texture pack. Give us an update from time to time.
Despite how things tend to get pigeon-holed around these forums, for reasons of logic and space...it's also very important and immensely helpful to me to see how one's texture blocks are being used by other people. Many new ideas and inspiration stem from such contributions and if I'm to remain enthusiastic enough to want to improve on things, I need visual prompts from time to time...I can't exist in a vacuum.
Many thanks for showing your work here.
I also took the chance to drop in on the project you started on Planet Minecraft and your Dead Space Texture Pack. Both looking mighty interesting and nicely presented. Keep up the good work.

Oooh! Sounds like I'll be doing the same as you for the next few days. My summer house project (built on the side of our hillside garden) has come to a halt while I dig boulders and old foundations away and pour new concrete and brick foundations in for an extended wooden veranda. I love digging...seriously, very earthy and good for the soul!
Then, if I've still got some feeling in my hands at the end of the day, I can relax and dig some more in Minecraft. However, being physically tired has made getting my head around the inside of an imaginary box to make the starfield almost an impossible task.
I'm certainly not hanging around this time for 1.4, so as soon as I've repositioned some nebulae and re-spaced this nightmare of a font, I'll update.
So I ran into something that I dont think you will like Glimmar...

Yeh! That's why I'm having to work all over again on my font.
Probably like you I got a chance to update earlier today and I audibly groaned. Other texture pack fonts are showing up with spacing problems on my system, but none as bad as my font. Every time there's an update, it mucks up the spacing. I haven't a clue why it should change each time, nor why certain letters are more effected than others. It's a real pain though!
If I had more time (and the confidence that the effort would be worth it) I'd have a go at another font style and size to see if it made any difference long term. Sadly, I lack time and experience in this department.
Well, I've got to say, I really like what you've done with the sky. It's a shame about the letters though…
So, I ran into a Minecraft-playing friend of mine today for the first time since the beginning of the summer. He mentioned how he had visited a convention sometime last month, wearing a Minecraft shirt, and he was approached by a number of other MC players… including a fair number of Steampunk enthusiasts. Surprisingly, very few of these people knew of your pack, but since I've talked about it with my friend a fair bit (although he himself doesn't use it), he knew of it and passed the info along. So I guess you can thank him if you get a few dozen more users.

Well, I've sorted the font again...and getting more practiced in making necessary changes, so it doesn't seem quite so daunting, but I do wonder if other setups experience things in different ways as regards the font.
I'm just finishing up on editing the starfield, and mighty pleased with it so far. Amazing what little twinkly stars and liberal amounts of stellar gases does to the feeling of wondrous spaciousness.
Pass my thanks onto your friend, sheep. That was mighty nice of him to mention the old pack. I think part of the pack's anonymity comes from not being up on Planet Minecraft. My son has mentioned this to me many times, apparently most of his friends at school who play Minecraft have never even heard of the Texture Pack section of the MC Forums. Perhaps Planet Minecraft is the first port of call for most newcomers these days. So I really must get off my behind and at least put up a little window there soon.
Check in again soon, I'll be updating again with the above mentioned starfield which, considering it's only one texture, makes a massive difference to night time viewing.

Sorry about not getting the pack out today, some stuff cropped up. I probably won't be able to get it up this weekend (moving my fiancé onto campus for grad school). I may get something done for Monday.
