I take it you've decided to spend the night working on IC stuff. Looks quite good. Might I make a suggestion though? I was thinking that the circuits look a bit too… cluttered. What do you think about cutting back a bit on the brown around the edges, like so:
I understand if you would prefer to have it your own way, but I was just thinking that this way looks a bit more circuity (why yes, I am a computer science major, how'd you guess?)
Btw, are you including my work in the compilation pack sheep? Or were you going to keep it separate? I dont mind either way.
I was planing on keeping it separate, since it seems like you've already got it packaged up nice and neat. We may want to make sure that Glim includes a link to it in the mods section though…
I notice that you've also bundled the Bulidcraft textures in with it, and I just want to give a heads up that (at least according to Tekkit) they may need some updating. I'll see if I can't fix it up, but if I don't feel free to add the missing textures. I haven't had much time to work on it, and since I've been using Tekkit to test the mods out, I may be a couple versions of Buildcraft (or Better than Buildcraft) behind.

Actually, the "net" folder only has the texture for the spout from BTB (although I may have accidentally put them in their by mixing my own personal file with the download file) and Better Then Buildcraft is now officially dead. FlowerChild no longer has time to maintain it. Maybe someone will pick it up but i doubt it.
Keeping it seperate does seem good, I already have things set up so just a link would be fine. Besides, I think the "mod compilation" is slowly turning into a tekkit pack At least alot of mods from it are involved (although that is mostly every big mod).
Yeah, the download I grabbed had the whole Buildcraft set from the mod compilation. If you didn't mean to have that, you may want to fix it. As for the compilation being mostly Tekkit, that's partly because Tekkit has so much stuff, and partly because that's what people use (and I don't have time to add a bunch of mods in, I like the whole "click here to get everything" layout). But there are some non-Tekkit things in there, such as the Planes mod and Forestry (had recently been taken out of Tekkit). Anyway… yeah, slowly chugging along. Thinking of doing a bit more work on Railcraft before uploading (still need some of the specialty rails).

Works for me either way. Uptdated the post above with changed circuits. Though may have to start a page of alternates.
OK, this is what I have so far in the pack. If you know of any other mods not listed here that have been worked on, please let me know and include either the textures or a link to where I can find the textures.
Æther Mod
Buildcraft
Charging Bench
Clay Soldiers
ComputerCraft
Crafting Table III
Forestry
IC2
Iron Chest
Missing Blocks
Nether Ores
Planes
Portal Gun
RailCraft
RedPower 2
Simple Ores
Weapon Mod
Zeppelin
I know that there are some Better Than Wolves textures done by JesterMailMan, but I won't be including them in here as he already has those compiled nicely (also, there are a LOT of files in there, which would clutter this pack).

Removed the Buildcraft textures for the future, thanks for the heads up, I didnt want to distribute those but I guess I forgot to remove them from my own personal pack before updating the official one. Forestry was removed? I dont usually play tekkit (mostly install them oldschool myself) but Im surprised they removed it. Its a huge addition for Buildcraft, lots more playtime.
And I think you got all the Mod textures for the compilation, went back quite a ways to check.

Yeah, they took out Forestry in the last update, due to incompatibilities with their updater/launcher. I'm not sure if they are trying to get it back in, but for the time being, it is removed. A real shame though, it did add a lot to Buildcraft and made it work better with IndustrialCraft.
EDIT: I just realized that Technic had been updated a while back, and it added a number of new mods. Messing around with them, and I noticed that some of the current textures I have don't match up any more. Most notably, RailCraft has changed the Creosote oil, and put a new type of rail in it's place. Looks like I'll have to tweak the sheet a bit more, and I might as well create the new rail and track while I'm at it. Also, I may try my hand at texturing the Myst mod, as I'm a big fan of the series.
FURTHER EDIT: OK, this'll be interesting. The change in Creosote oil on Railcraft happened between the version of the mod used in Technic and Tekkit. Among the changes are the Creosote oil becoming a liquid rather than an item, a new set of rail types… oh, and all the track textures now have their own separate sheet. Going to have to totally redo the texture sheets for Railcraft now, and I'll include both versions in the mod pack… *grumblegrumble*
Greetings, Glimmar!
I am using your texture pack since 1.7.3 Beta, and since then I make a little customizing of pack with your alternate texture pictures. But a week ago I've encoutered a problem with replacing textures. I'll show screenshots to explain.
This is textures for 1.2.5. I've changed texture for bookshelves and glass.
Then, i've done same stuff with 1.3.1 textures. Was using Minecraft Texture Editor first, then Paint.Net. Still no result
One more thing. I have a weird things with blocks of glass. If there is pasted by MCEdit structure on map, containing glass, the glass will have custom texture. But if I place glass by myself on map - the have default texture from pack. Not default minecrafts' , but those, which I changed. But if I place glass panes, they have texture, that I wanted.
Help me please, I like your texture pack so much
P.S. Sorry for English, if there are mistakes in spelling

You will need to either replace the textures in the ctm.png file, or (if you're using MCPatcher), you can just delete the ctm.png file. That should fix it right up.

Just to let you know I updated the block_machine2.png and ic2-item_0.png

Thanks for letting me know, they've been added to the compilation. Currently looking through what I have and what still needs to be done, and I'm cataloguing which texture sheets have been completed, which have unfinished textures, and which need to be redone due to either changing texture locations or recently added textures. If anyone would like, I can upload a list (based on Technic and/or Tekkit). I still need to look over the other mods that have been worked on to make sure they are up to date, but it's a start.

You should redo the tools, the colours and shading are too simple compared to everything else.
They're ok but they don't quite match the rest of the pack.
Is this directed at Glimmar or one of the people working on redoing the mods? You might want to clarify…
Have any of you guys checked out Mighty Pork's Power Craft on planetminecraft.com ?? It would be well worth making Glimmars tex pack compatible with it ! http://www.planetmin...recraft-384340/
I believe someone had suggested that a while back. I don't think anyone is looking into it, but we'll take it into consideration. Of course, it might help to finish what we've already started before taking on more stuff…

Ive also got an update (actually a whole bunch, just have been forgetting to mention it here) for Better Than Wolves.
Here's the post on the BTW Forums
Only have the GUI to do now! Woohoo! Im actually surprised at how long ive been maintaing this, considering it started on mere whim.
