Well do as you feel but I would be thankfull if you could make it :]
But if you can't, I always wanted to test making some textures my self. But tropiccraft is a little too big to start with for me... Is there a little mod that hasn't support for glimmars textures support that I could try warming up with?
EDIT: I know the rules with Glimmars textures and I will watch out for them.
Hmmm, well some of the only "big" mods left are Thaumcraft and Millenaire but those may be a bit big to start with. I know forestry has already been done but maybe you could start with a build craft add-on? Logistic pipes or Additional pipes. I don't believe they have any actual blocks but it could be a good place to start and learn how to make textures. You might just want to browse the mod forums and look for anything that strikes your fancy, start with something you know you would enjoy using
Great job man
subbed´and commented...may as well post it here. Could you do mod support for Tropiccraft?
I'm using Glimmar's with Tropicraft, Timber, NEI, and RedPower2, and it looks just fine. I did play with the Texmix (awesome program) and used it to pull some of the extras over to it. Tropic seems to use it's own textures for it's unique items, same as RedPower. But Glimmar's works for me. I just wish I could get Buildcraft in there too, but something's not playing well with it. But whatever...as long as I can use this texpack, I'm happy

I think he meant that he wanted custom made textures for Tropicraft. It probably looks fine with defaults but everything matching is always good.
By the way sinbac, I took a look at the Tropicraft files and Im afraid that there is far too much plant stuff for me to handle by myself without making completely custom textures, something Im not comfortable doing atm. Sorry to tell you this but I don't want to give you something that is terrible to look at. Hopefully you can learn to make your own and make some better than me
Again there are no new BTW textures (TheHoboHunted is preoccupied so items have slowed down) but I made quick textures for the "The Vat" Add-On for BTB (Better Then Buidcraft)
Here is the vat:
And here is the Vat items:
I think they turned out well though Im unsure about the silver trim for the vat. While it matches with the soul forged steel texture (the main ingredient used to make it) it doesn't necessarily blend well with the block or for the rest of the pack. Perhaps that is a good thing though since it is an Add-On...?
Here is a link to the BTW forums post where I have this and the rest of BTW and the spout from BTB ready for download

...working on a movie to show all the new stuff...trying to refresh my grip on movie editing and adding some special effects to a title plate...then a week to render...bear with! (only joking about the rendering! )
Of course, you have my abject apologies for the delay.
This took ALOT of editing and I hope you guys enjoy. RBD Tools is a Stand-Alone mod AND a Better Than Wolves extension (hence the steel tools) and I instantly fell in love with it. Most of the textures were simple edits (like the match picks) but the Masonpicks required at least five different tools to construct and the Kukris were 90% done from scratch. Except for the kukris Im still doing copy/pasting and color adjustments but Im now copy/pasting individual pixels most of the time. Hope you guys enjoy!

Does this mean the new update is near?!
I can't wait! I'm excited to see what you have in store (particularly the ore animations)
I hadn't been to this thread (or the forums in general) in quite a while, so I was reading through the updates on the first post and noticed you wanted people to click the green "Reputation" button -- looked and didn't see it, but I would gladly click it!
Thank you for continually updating this pack. I am a TPoholic and switch between packs often, and some packs I've come to enjoy have seemingly just stopped updating. But yours is always top notch (no pun intended). Have a blessed week!
Ive been talking to RaustBlackDragon (maker of RBD tools) and Ive agreed to texture several more mods that he will be using in a lets play on friday. These are the mods Im texturing now (He is using BTW and RBD Tools as well but Ive already done those):
can anybody help me...i want this texture pack but i use MultiMC...and i have no idea how i would use MCpatcher with it..? pleasse help
The easiest thing to do for you would be to NOT use MCPatcher. Glimmar's pack does not make use any of the things MCP can do that Optifine can not (yet.) Therefore, since optifine is a standalone mod, instead of program based, I suggest you use that instead. I myself and an avid user of optifine. It far exceeds the abilities of MCP in everything but minor texture pack details that few creators actually bother with (to my knowledge). Most of these features are soon to be implemented as well.
Also, thinks for saying MultiMC. I currently use the "messing with .bat files" technique xD

Did you check for the mods you use in extras?

Some nice industrial machines however more diesel punk than steampunk.
This is the helmet some of the Nazi pilots wear:
And I did a pumpkin texture for it for the server I work on. Feel free to use it!
The airship texture is (or was) made by Glimmar, and there are a number of alternates... somewhere. Try the Extras folder.
Friggin Autocorrect :/ Sorry about that
These are 16x16, not 32x32 HD.
The balloon is 32x. If you're talking about the item texture, check the folder that the mod is in.

Curse PremiumI am looking for a skin that is Santa Clause with a steampunk flair to it. Here are some inspirational pictures:
