One thing, I personally liked the darker texture with the yellow "eye" of the Lens in the previous version a little more.

About the lens. Over on the BTW forum Ive had a couple guys post their own versions of the modded textures and one has allowed me to use his textures, which is where I got the new lens from. Im surprised you liked the last one better as it wasn't that good in my opinion! The new lens makes a lot more sense though because of the material required to build it so I think it will stay the way it is. If you like it that much you could manually paste it into the newer versions or maybe Ill include an alt later on.

Second: I seem to have some sort of "problem", i guess.
I Downloaded the 64x Version, mcpatcher latest version and played without any problem. But after a bit i realised that my textures arent 64x64, theyre 32x32 wich is kind of odd since I downloaded the 64x64 Version.
Any Ideas? Or Maybe I'm just dumb :/
With the 64x pack, all of the blocks are still 32x, but some of the animated bits (water, lava, etc) are 64x.

Don't worry about it I know exactly what you mean . Actually I had to remind myself for a few of the textures just that! Like the companion cube. I originally had it as wool but then I remembered that the wolf is actually a robot so I changed it to better fit the TP. Im pretty sure the pedestal and column are the only ones that break this rule atm but I really like the metal version so Ill keep it at that.

To let everyone know I heard that there will be texture packs for the Xbox version of minecraft and Im getting it, so when they do implement textures and mods in to it I will do the conversion if want or if its even needed.
Hey Glimmar, it's great to see that you are still keeping up with the updates for this texturepack. I will say however, that I did greatly prefer the old nether brick texture over the current one you now have, no offence.
Also, I know this has been asked before so I'm sorry if it sounds like a nagging request, but one thing that could make this mod even better is if you could add mod compatibility with mods like BTW. I understand that your time is limited and you are busy irl and with just updating vanilla, but if you ever do get blessed with time to spare, I would greatly appreciate this addition.
May all of your structures stand strong and herald the beauty of steam punk arcitecture.

ok you know what? I edited together some terrain.png's for ya'll. The first is exactly what i pulled out from glimmar's alt's 4. The second I made it more purple, but used the same base. It's... not all that good The third is playing the default. The fourth is one where I vectorized the default, scaled it to 128x128, and shrunk that down to 32x32. None of this is my own original work creations, it is all based on the default terrain.png and slightly modified versions of Glimmar's alt texture (maybe it was SUPPOSED to be regular bricks, but it made nether bricks quite nicely.) No other blocks have been changed from Glimmar's default png.

I am now moving onto the gui and have a guy on the BTW forums (TheHoboHunted) helping me with the items as we speak, expect to see those over the next couple of days!

I mainly only use BTW atm but I used to be a big Tech (no I didn't use technic, manual install all the way) mod fan. Buildcraft, Industrialcraft, Redpower etc. . I don't know if there is any mod on here that hasn't already been done that I would be interested in!
But its surprising how much fun I had putting together these textures. What goes well with this? What if I combine these? Gold and Black metal or neither? Its only because Glimmar had an absurd amount of alts that I have fun ^^
Maybe one of these days Ill try a new mod but Im focused on completing this one atm.

That's true too. Everything I use has already been re-textured. I just figured there were probably more out there that I wasn't aware of. I don't use many mods to begin with and try to stay away from anything that adds/changes minecraft's mechanics.

Quickly speeding through the vanilla textures! Only have to figure out the hemp texture and then the block textures will be 100% done.
Then Ill have to figure out how to do the items.....
