Hey Glimmar. I am a huge fan of yours, and I was wondering if there were any way for us to get your totally amazing world save file, the one in your videos. If so, thanks. I really want to explore it and I think its awesome. If not, then I understand.
Loving the update as always. Haven't been playing as much Minecraft with Skyrim being out (being a Nord and all) but still got the chance to tinker.
By the way I'm listening to the new Nightwish album and remember your post about it earlier. I'm slowly growing to like Anette in this one. Don't know if anyone has posted this before, but this is suitably steampunk related from their last album.
As always your texture pack is the only one that can make me build stuff in Minecraft Glimmar :)Thanks for keeping up the good work! I've posted a few screenshots from my hobby project (LINK)! Feel free to use any of it in your OP if you desire it :smile.gif:/Disco
...And thanks for the encouragement, Discomental. Your world builds are truly awesome, but I particularly like the scale and simplicity of the obsidian world. I will certainly use some of those pics if I may.

One day I'll put it up for perusal, but it's still my private retreat and testing ground and I want to make some more vids of it. It's the only world I've ever built in, so it has a lot of sentimental attachment.
I'm flattered you'd want to look round it, but it's still a bit chaotic with lots of experiments when testing out textures.

Haha. I'm rewarding myself with Skyrim for the next few days. My son is coming home this weekend from uni and I bought him a copy as a homecoming/birthday gift. So we'll all be chanting along to that most excellent music in the game. :biggrin.gif:
My son was the one who got me interested in Nightwish and I remember him showing me that vid way before getting interested in Minecraft, had forgotten the steampunk overtones in it.
Oooo, it was my birthday and I forgot to ask for the Nightwish album as a pre-order...lol. Because I'd already got Skyrim, much to my wife's annoyance, I asked for a new electric shaver instead (how boring is that!). :biggrin.gif:
First I would like to say this texture pack is amazing.second can you give snow golems a texture?like maybe make it look more robot like.i use a few and they look a bit out of place.
In this TP there is only one npc texture, i wrote Glimmar about wrong placement and wrong name of this texture in private missage right before this update, but i think he didn't read it...
What to do:
Open the texture pack, in "mob" folder you'll filnd villager.png, you need to create a folder "villager" in mob folder. Place there villager.png and rename it to butcher.png or farmer.png, librarian.png, priest.png, smith.png. And then you'll se a new texture in game.
Just gotta say, this is my favorite texture pack ever. Only other one I use when not horsing around is Jolicraft, since it tends to be updated before this one is.
Anyway, my point is, this pack is simply fantastic. And it's animated!
due to another sleepless night, i decided to play around with textures again so now i present the human looking villagers
*SNIP*
A few bits still look patchy as i literally just stretched the textures into place, but i quite like them, with the exception of the hideously blocky heads

The animated textures are really cool, but, erm, not all of them are working right! Redstone wire, repeaters, and brewing stands aren't really animating, they're just scrolling down repeatedly like lava or water. It's probably because MCPatcher isn't programmed to animated those textures properly, all the other blocks and items are working fine, and again, are REALLY COOL. someone should try making an animated Ghast fireball next! (Ghast fireballs appear in the items.png near the slimeball)
Is the following list correct for which mobs have not been made?
Cave Spider
Ender Dragon
Mooshroom
Silverfish
Blaze
Magma Cube
Snow Golem
I was thinking of taking a stab at one or more of these if I have any spare time. Also, I may modify the pig zombies a bit. The color of the metal just seems… off. Thinking more of a rusty iron or corroded copper motif.
I can see you've all been busy (love the villager edits, hatwhale. :biggrin.gif: ).
I'm still stuck with RL at the mo', but just wanted to say that I am about and will begin again on some more mobs and random mobs. I got all of about 10 mins on Skyrim and a free evening building in my world of Newglim, when it seemed everyone in the family and everyone who knows me wanted something urgent doing! :blink.gif:
Sorry for any mix-ups I may or may not be responsible for in the latest update...I haven't really read back past this page. At least there doesn't seem to be any hate-mail, so that's a good thing. :smile.gif:

I use robo villager instead of butcher )
