Just a question.
Does this texturepack work with current 1.8 pre release? I mean, I know that it isn't finished yet but maybe there are some place holders or sth.. I so badly want to try it :tongue.gif:
it wont make minecraft crash, if that's what you're thinking. Blocks new to 1.8 will be purple, but new items will be invisible
Almost all of Better than wolves re-textured to fit this pack, will upload the zip to mediafire and link here when its been tested and the remaining blocks are finished.
Nice! I love Better Than Wolves and tried to make textures for it but falied . I'd love to use them once you finish with them.
For the Endermen I have no name suggestions but still recommend that they be made a steel and steam rather than flesh and blood, as they take damage in water. i.e they rust or their boilers go out.

Possibly an early electro-mechanical beast. Vacuum tubes, tesla coils, and a steam generator providing power. Falling in water shorts it out.

Yay! Im so happy to see that the naysayers did not scare you away Glimmar!
I really dont know that I could enjoy Minecraft as much as I do without
your awesome texture pack. Cant wait to see how you "Steampunkify" (is that
a word?) the rest of the new items. Keep up the good work. :cool.gif:
Btw, I have a few new maps uploaded to show off some of the new abandoned mineshafts,
ravines and almost all the new world generation nuggets... I still have not had
any luck finding a Stronghold :sad.gif:
Check them out there. Also if anyone happens to remember my original Steampunk map,
you may like to know that its clocking in around 554 Mb. Its by far not the largest
world out there, but there is so much to explore that I am sure that I have not
found all the neat things in the map.
I love how it looks! I haven't a chance to use it however, as I am using 1.8.
Can't wait for it to come out!

Due to the new forum layout I am forced to leave a Link to my about me page so you can my mods/texture packs I support along with my Dragons, Just click on the image
I just found out that someone on Worth1000 was asking for the schematics for the Nautilus I made a while back. I should probably finish up the bottom level first…
I've already started meddling with it with 1.8. Swapped out some of the glass for panes, and I meant to fix the table shortly. Any other ideas for changes?
NOTE: The pictures are from various stages in it's construction. I had already replaced the stone slabs on the outside with cobblestone slabs. A few other things have also been tweaked since the beginning.
I use Glimmar`s TP in my airship project. And i think it will be epik. Check it if you interested:

Nice! I've seen this before you posted it here. It is probably the most breathtaking project that I have ever seen in terms of scale and attention to detail. I can't wait to see the final product
I <3 this texture. i think endermen should be "iron golems" or "gearmen" :tongue.gif: its just an idea though... Like the Ottoman clankers from the Leviathan book where they had scoped eyes. anyway, just an idea :smile.gif:

For those wanting just a working version until he gets the update out. Just add the new terrain.png textures to his current version (from a resized vanilla template or from one of his many alt textures) and it will at least replace the missing textures. The chests are difficult for you to get working without some serious alt texturing, but they will just default to the vanilla version til Glimm gets the update out.

Lets get some creative Juices flowing for Enderman Concepts in Steampunk...Shall we :3
I may end up just making it into a schematic file once I get around to it. Anyone on here interested? Pics can be found… 100+ pages back on here (give or take). Or you can see it here: http://mcrft.worth1000.com/entries/634017/nautilus-20-000-leagues-under-the-sea
