Just spent the morning (UK time) updating my OP with new 'Licence' wording as required by the Minecraft Forum Admin. I have still yet to list those who have special permission to use my artwork (if this is required by admin), so my apologies to all effected in the short term and all those who have recently PM'd or posted requests to use stuff. I have very limited time at the moment. :sad.gif:

So my brain doesn't explode with all this legal stuff, I want to finish off all my animated stuff (water, lava and fire) and get that uploaded before the 1.8 update hits us like a ton of bricks. Then I'll try and sort out any requests and permissions etc.

Thanks to everyone above for all your kind comments. Family stuff, though chaotic at this time of year, is much more positive now. Once again thanks for your support and sorry I can't reply to individual posts at the moment.

As regards the legal mumbo jumbo, I suppose I feel better now about doing it, but it kinda took up most of my free time yesterday worrying about something we probably didn't need to worry too much about...I hope. :mellow.gif: Thanks Faust. :smile.gif:

So far I think I've only given permission to two people to redistribute Glimmar's Steampunk, earlier this year Aaargh who has included my pack (not the extra stuff) along with seemingly hundreds of other mods combined and Proloe who has had to make changes to my pack to fit with her 'SteamCraft' mod, but Proloe has been very good, at great inconvenience to herself, by distributing her work combined with GS solely through this thread.

Some requests come in from time to time for permission to use the pack as their server's theme...I usually count this as personal use, as long as they're only offering to members who use the server and at no extra charge for the pack. Others have asked to use the pack as a base, but I prefer it if it's not released until everything has been replaced by their own work, so it may be used as a photographic prop to show off their own work. However, I think I need to be more clear to future borrowers that they must credit all contributers whose work is included in the main pack.

I also need to make it clear that all work in the 'extras' download is only for personal use, but if someone really wanted to use something, permission would have to be gained from each individual contributer, if not created by my fair hand. It's a complicated tangle and I may need to simplify things to make it more manageable, and as intended, in time I will get round to replacing everything in the main pack with my own work. :smile.gif:
