It's a very beautiful work of art crafted by master hatmakers of the industrial-revolution period. I'd contact them to get proof, but at the time all the hats were in fact bonded with quicksilver. The hatmakers were found weeks later in a large airship, trying to control the minds of all the wolves in the area, to create fear in the hearts of the townspeople, to take over the lands. They were executed.
So yeah, good luck contacting them.

This is where people normally put stuff about things nobody bothers reading.
I like to think of myself as a pretty alright guy.
Ladies and Gentlemen, Children of all ages, fancy Aristocrats in the booths above (Thanks for paying our outrageous fee, by the way.) I present to you, for the first time, on this post only, the UnGoggledTM hat!
Love goggles, but hate the way they look on you? Then this texture is for you! After many hours of the best scientific minds' labor, somehow they managed to remove the goggles from the hat, while still keeping the hat itself! Superb! Splendid! Some might even call it Magic! But fear not, ladies and gents, for this is not the work of a lying, manipulating "Alchemist", but the work of legitimate science!
I apologize, but I don't really think the goggles look good on the character, so I just took them off. Yeah, yeah, it's very easy and anyone can do, but I just wanted to show that they look legitimate when removed like so. So yeah. Big fan of the pack, by the way, happens to be my personal favorite.
Looks good, and I love the way you present things!
One thing though, the leather cap item in the invetory still has the goggles. You may want to change that too. Good job, my friend.

The Steamcraft version of the pack has an un-goggled version of the leather hat. I needed to remove it to allow the Brass Goggles to use the goggles texture, so there's an alternative one in there, too.
Thanks folks for keeping this thread busy. You are all very kind with your comments of support for the pack and family circumstances, proving what good people you are. I hope to reward you all soon with my animated water, lava and fire ...well, when you see it, you might not think it's that good a reward. Lol!
We had mixed results on the tests for my wife, the good news being that the lumps removed from her arm and leg aren't cancerous, but the bad news is that they are now thinking she may be suffering from 'Sarcoidosis'...so further tests and x-rays! Sarcoidosis can disappear as quickly as it comes or linger on, can be treated if it gets bad, but only very rarely can be fatal...so you can imagine after this week's consultation we are much more releaved than last week.
The dog is healing quite well too, though she thinks she's only got three legs until she properly gets going. Stitches are out, but she's still not allowed to go down steps for another month. Considering we live on the side of a hill with hundreds of steps everywhere (think Minecraft!) it's not the easiest of arrangements to toilet and exercise the beasty.
I've a lot of PM's and comments to trawl through, but work, summer hols and the fact that my offspring seem to need ferrying all over the place at the mo', and one is getting ready to go off to uni soon, is leaving me very short of free time. Hence why I've only been concentrating on the animation side of things...something I had no prior experience with. I knew it would be a frustrating exercise (especially only using Gimp) and it still is, but it's born some satisfying results. :smile.gif:
Once again, sorry not to have replied to any PM's/posts and I apologise if this has hampered any personal projects you may have needed permission for. As soon as I've uploaded all the new animated stuff, I'll follow up with answering stuff as best I can. Also, If you'll allow me, I will try and include any and all alternative edits in the 'extras' download as usual. Just let me know if you'd rather they weren't included. Appropriate credit will be attached to any file.
From a cursory glance I did glean Faust had a birthday! Happy birthday, mate!
Hey, you're back! Sorry to hear about your troubles-- I didn't know what was going on until dorian filled me in. I've been a very bad fan and haven't been keeping up with your thread lately... :sad.gif:

Haha! I don't have fans around here, only compatriots and never a day goes by when I don't feel guilty I've not visited other threads and shown equal support. Very much loving what you and dorian are doing.
wonderful to have you back. And very excited to see the progress on your water and lava.
Thanks, dorian. Well, mostly back 'in spirit' at the moment, but feeling happier about life in general, though rushed, and hope my attempts at animation don't turn out to look ok in my eyes only. Faust has more experience than I in the animation department.
I better get back to finishing this lava off...so many attempts just turned out ...ugh! :dry.gif:

Happy to hear things are going better now. Hopefully the following tests will come out negative (and with that, I mean the negative docters use, meaning that you don't have bad stuff which is actually positive for you and your wife).
Make sure you read the new announcement by the forum admins. It directly effects texture pack artists. We are now REQUIRED to have copyright information on our threads. If we don't our work will be removed. WE have two weeks before they start removing packs. And to make matters even better, the site they link to uses HTML coding which isn't supported by curse.
YAY!!!!!!!
I was really worried about this pack because of you being gone for so long. It is good to see you back :biggrin.gif:

Oh hey Glimm, my condolences to you and your family for your recent struggles. I haven't been to the thread in a few weeks, been very busy. But I love all of the new additions to the Mod. The armor sets all look really cool. Oh and while I'm here, I've been working on a new demo, which you can hear here.
This was all done with a brand new setup. Using Ableton Live, with EWQL Symphonic Gold, Colossus, and Stormdrum. I have decided to leave Reason behind. it was a good tool to learn on, but now i need something with much better quality.
Not sure if this will be a VP track, or something else just yet, but feel free to snag the demo mix if you like. Cheers!

Wow... Has it really been April since I posted last? I have to first and foremost apologize for my sudden disappearance. The end of exams really sapped my will to participate, and with the forum switching to Curse it became harder to pop in and out of the forums as easily as it had been before. Plus... I felt a little worn out with Minecraft over the summer.
I have a nasty habit of simply leaving online communities without a farewell or condolences. Anonymous or not, I need to realize that people miss me when I disappear. I'm sorry to all my friends in Pipeworld: I made grandiose schemes and left them half-finished. I hope you can find it in your hearts to let me return to that bastion of civility and creativity.
And most of all, I'm sorry to you, Glimmar. This texture pack is fast approaching its' first year anniversary, and at the rate things were going I was going to miss it. You have put so much time and effort into this pack, and it has reached Lovecraftian proportions in both size and support. It is easy to forget that you are as much a person as the rest of us, with a family to tend to, and work to outside of this virtual realm.
I offer my sincerest condolences to both your canine companion and your lovely wife. While I berate myself for being absent in your time of need, I am glad to hear that both ailments were not fatal, and that they are well on the road to recovery.
...Of course, I have rambled on enough. Suffice it to say that I'm back, boys and girls, and I don't plan on leaving again soon.
So yeah, good luck contacting them.

Thank you! Actually it's all samples from VST's running through Native Instruments Kontakt. But sequenced in the program "Ableton Live".
Oooh... lucky. I could only afford Silver.
