I've only finished about 0.1% of the textures anyway. Even if I was nearly done, I'd still hold release till he approved ^^
I appreciate that, Manxx. :smile.gif: And to all for looking out for me and answering queries and your kind posts of support. I've not looked at any PM's (for reasons of sanity), so please don't think I'm being ignorant or lazy in not replying.
For relaxation I've been working on animating water, fire and lava. Hence you might want to wait until I get round to posting those, Manxx. Water I'm happy with (looks good close up and doesn't pattern horribly at distance, so ticks the right boxes for me), fire too, but lava which I thought might have been the easiest thing to tackle has turned out to be a beast. I'm currently playing around at 128x level for the animations and when I'm happy with them all I'll drop them down to 64x and release them for use with the pack.
It's amazing how being away for a couple of weeks changes your perspective of things, but it's a bit scary how fast things move on the forums by way of mods, etc. and I have the feeling of being left behind by so much creativity. Oh well, more important things to attend to just at the moment.
As previously mentioned, I am still intending to support any official updates given the time and providing I still have the creative spark.
Dog limping but quite perky...waiting on the wife and results...
Hope you're all having a good summer though. I know how addictive Minecraft is, but don't forget to enjoy some real sun too. :smile.gif:
Nice to hear about the doggy Glimm. Hope things turn out mighty good for the wife. I just helped a stranger (friend of my dad's) move his entire (28 foot Uhaul truck...that I drove) house 3 hours away. Took a total of 4 days to do it. So I hate moving other people's things now... :biggrin.gif:
I don't believe in Karma, but if she's real, she better remember this...LOL!

You moved someones house? That sounds like it was an interesting experience to say the least! :tongue.gif:
Oh and Glim, nice to know your dog is getting better and I hope things turn out well soon for you and your wife!

I hate to ask a question that's probably been answered, seeing as it pops up everywhere these days, but have you considered making textures for the Aether mod? I'd love to see what the mystical realm of the sky looks like from your steampunk point of view.
That would be cool to see.

Tree Puncher.
I punch trees! All tree should fear the name Eldest Wolf!
There was discussion from some of the followers of this thread about a community effort to create said support. I am not sure if there is any progress on it though.

On page 312 torturran uploaded a partial retexture for the Aether.
Beautiful work as ever Glimmar, I hope your family is doing well. c:
I'm wondering if you've thought about using the Minecraft Customiser Site as an easier way of accessing your alternate textures. I've been using some of the packs from there and it's quite simple and easy to use. c:
Ladies and Gentlemen, Children of all ages, fancy Aristocrats in the booths above (Thanks for paying our outrageous fee, by the way.) I present to you, for the SECOND time ever, on this post only, the UnGoggledTM hat!
Love goggles, but hate the way they look on you? Then this texture is for you! After many hours of the best scientific minds' labor, somehow they managed to remove the goggles from the hat, while still keeping the hat itself! Superb! Splendid! Some might even call it Magic! But fear not, ladies and gents, for this is not the work of a lying, manipulating "Alchemist", but the work of legitimate science!
I apologize, but I don't really think the goggles look good on the character, so I just took them off. Yeah, yeah, it's very easy and anyone can do, but I just wanted to show that they look legitimate when removed like so. So yeah. Big fan of the pack, by the way, happens to be my personal favorite.

Retired StaffWell...everything IN their house
:biggrin.gif:
*btw...I'm officially "older" in a couple of hours...so here's a quote to celebrate
When I get older, I don't want people thinking "what a nice old man". I want them to worry, "I hope he is not armed."
"This may hurt a little, but it's something you'll get used to...."
Congratz on being a nice ol' man that hopefully is not armed!
Congratulations, Sir :laugh.gif: ... Please point that gun somewhere else :blink.gif:
Happy birthday! And I LOVE the quote! :cool.gif:
