As regards the remix poll thread, I've ducked back down into the trenches for now, but thanks Croco! Lol! Not everything I say is to be taken too seriously usually, but when it comes to respecting art and someone's hardwork, which many clearly don't, I tend to go into terminator mode... then when my internal steam engine cools down, I kind of look back and think, "Did I say all that? Wow!" Really it's not me, it's just that Jekyll and Hyde serum I keep having to take!

I've posted a long and detailed request for my textures to be removed...immediately, on the guy's thread. I had given permission again, when he'd reassured me he would not be asking for donations. I also made it a condition that he only had my permission so long as he neither asked for donations or use adf.ly again with my textures onboard, both of which he broke. The guys atitude in general leaves a lot to be desired. He offends people right, left and centre, (as part of an elaborate practical joke on his part, it seems) and then wonders why they won't leave him alone, asking everyone, "what have I done wrong?" But as I say, apparently he's the big joker now! His numerous PM's to me, asking again for permission to use my textures show the guy is just trying to waste eveyone's time. :sad.gif:

Or depending on the way you look at it, it could be the SteamCraft mod isn't precisely compatible with Glimmer's Steampunk. Remember this pack has been around since October of 2010. SteamCraft, with my permission, uses my textures in his mod. You need to speak to Proloe with regard to whether or not he has updated his mod with the most up-to-date version of my pack. :smile.gif:

well if my clan would give in to the creative aspect of mc over the "survival" it would be on our server and be much bigger....but sadly they see it as a waste of resources and seem to think they would die while building it cuz of no protection. although as of last night they no longer have a home nor limbs as a roaming clockwork creeper found and open door >.>

I love this texture pack so much(and my clan too) that I suggested everyone who plays on our server use it, and one person took it upon himself to make a big steampunk spawn building for us.
If someone could explain to me how to create a texture pack from scratch. I would love you forever. The whole mix pack scene is wearing on me. I do enjoy mashing textures together and giving credit and such. But I really want to make something my self. The artists on here really inspire me because they are so connected to their posts. I write one comment and get a response very quickly. :biggrin.gif: Especially 32x32 and up.

I'm not even sure they're looking for new moderators at all - and I cannot honestly promise that I'd be any nicer to guys like Sparx if I had authority to back me up.
In short, I'd whip this forum into shape very quickly, but a lot of people might not like how I get it done. Except, of course, for the actual artists. They'd finally have room to thrive here.
I wouldn't just lock threads or edit posts. I found in the past that people will just post again or create new threads. No, the best way to silence someone who abuses posting privileges is to remove the posts entirely. Folks like Sparx would soon learn that it's hard to talk tough when no one can see what you posted.
Something needs to be done about the signal to noise ratio here, but it's ultimately up to the forum administration to determine who or how.

A relatively simple suggestion for the Zombie, zombies can make use of the second layer around the head bit like pigzombies. Your skin would probably benefit from the flesh on their heads being like the pigmen flesh.
Also on the topic of overlaid skins:
I have long wondered wether the saddle pic could be expanded.
I WONDER NO MORE!
Ok, it should have been pretty obvious but that's a pig wearing a saddle. This means you can not only give pigs a saddle, but fully upgrade them with armour or steampunk gadgetry! Or give her a monocle!

Delete the .jar file and redownload it. You won't be able to delete it from inside your Minecraft.jar without horribly damaging it otherwise.
