Another thing, I googled HD texture patcher, and the only thing that showed up was an outdated 1.3 patcher... any help here?
This is the link you need, bevr. The Patcher is usually always at the top of the Texture Packs section of the forums for future ref: viewtopic.php?f=1021&t=252531
You're always quicker off the mark, ksheep! :smile.gif: Best of luck with those exams by the way.
Did you run the latest version of the HD texture patcher? Sounds like that kind of issue.

I was thinking maybe that the mod might have used it's own terrain.png in order to call upon special materials. But that mod doesn't look like it does so...
Alright I just redownloaded and repatched my game, and It runs fine now. Thank you very much guys and sorry to waste your time DX that was all foolishness on my part, anyway thanks again! You all rock!
a few shots of the flowers i snapped (it appears that i am destined to live in seasonal forests, forests, Savannah's, and shrub-lands >.>)
savannah roses and flowers
seasonal forest
gonna post this in the grass mods thread, see if there is a reason this happens when i plant flowers >.> roses work fine but not flowers lmao. but on some sands in some biomes (that i couldnt get into this time around) they plant as little lilies on the sand.

The Creator gave me a formidable intellect and excellent verbal skills, if I can use them to make the world a better place I'm glad to. If that means tearing a new hole for some idiot, well, that's just icing on the cake.
Anyway to brighten the texture? Just a little dark... Just saying...
DIAMONDS FOR UR PACK THOUGH
Sorry, bevr. I lightened it a good 10% when 1.5 was introduced and I don't want to make it any lighter or I'll lose the atmosphere of the green gas lamps and Victorian England. Nothing stopping you from loading it up in Gimp or Paint.net and lightening the terrain.png yourself. The darkness comes from me using a darker palette of colours than most texture packs and if you've come from previously playing a bright and cheerful pack you'll definately think it's really dark. There's no way to control the ambient brightness of the game that I know of, as mentioned you'll just have to brighten up the terrain file at the risk of losing the atmosphere that was intended. :sad.gif:
Many thanks for the diamonds and glad you like it despite the darkness. :smile.gif:
That looks really cool (the wild grass pics). I just had to do a bunch of work, so I haven't played in at least 8 hours :biggrin.gif:. But now I know I'll have to install that mod and run around PW.

I discovered your pack just before the weekend, and you're responsible for me tearing down my storage depot and rebuilding it! Love the texture pack, love it, love it, love it!
I've spent most of the weekend replacing stone with clay, slabs with netherrack, and wiping out my railyard to be replaced with something more fitting your textures. Here's a sneaky peak of the depot, before I started reworking the yard and tracks.
Keep up the good work!
That's some excellent building work there, yetius, and welcome to the forums. Many thanks for the support. :smile.gif:

Hey there Glimmar, first off I just want to say congratualtions on a great texturepack, not many are able to pull off what you've done here and you should be proud!
Secondly (yes, there will be more compliments) I love the way you've integrated this pack with a mod, in this case steamcraft, it really shows that collaboration often results in succes, because looking at what you've managed to do with Minecraft through an idea as simple as steampunk really is inspiring to a lot of us. By this I don't only mean the modding community but also a lot of us "retired" Minecrafters who just had enough.
You've acctually showed me, with this texture pack and also the SteamCraft (which I'm aware that you didn't make but still think this pack is like 50% of it) the fun of building yet again and so I take off into another unexplored world to kill some zombie terminators and walking V10 Missiles ( of course), picking my way through layer after layer of rock until I find that one diamond that makes it all worthwhile and then building houses, no, towns, no, CITIES!
I thank you for taking the time to read this rather useless but very elaborated comment :biggrin.gif:
Keep up the good work!
Thanks for taking the time to post such encouraging words, seven62mm. Much appreciate the encouragement and more than glad you like! :smile.gif:

Hey Glimmar really random question, and i dont know if its been asked before, but whats your avatar from? It looks like something from a ye olde folk tale. Just curious
It's from a little random 6"x4" watercolor I did years and years ago and just seemed appropriate when I needed an avatar when I first joined the forums, back before I even had an idea for this pack. I added the twinkly bits too in Gimp...one of only a few attempts I've made at animation. Don't laugh Gestankfaust! :sad.gif:

I've just been cutting paving stones with a grinder, chisel and lump hammer most of the day and my wrists are killing me (no I'm not a convict!) so haven't been able to pic up my wacom pen tonight!!
One thing that badly needs changing about my Wild Grass textures (aside from my horrible Wildgrass!) is the glaring brightness of the flowers and flower foliage. The flowers aren't biome color co-ordinated though, so a bit tricky to get perfect! I really should have tried the mod out when i did those, but I don't know where folk find the time to texture and play around with mods. Lol!

My thanks, Midbus! :smile.gif:
I've just used a diamond pickaxe up this evening, so they will come in very useful.

Answer:There's a little hole in the cactus pretending to be a spike.
I'll put a fixed terrain.png file out tomorrow, if someone doesn't beat me to it, and update the pack when it's appropriate, unless someone really can't live with it!

@Glimmar - I think i may be down with no computer for a bit. So I won't be able to see your foliage until then. I hafta install a new hard drive (and thus the OS and everything else) and I may not be able to do it in just a day. No emergency or anything, but I just have a feeling it won't go smoothly

Yeh! I get transfixed by repeating cool animations...that one being a good example. We used to get that character on kids tv here! :biggrin.gif:
Hope the PC surgery goes ok. I'm sure it'll be fine, but whenever I do that sort of thing I expect the worst too. My recent change of computer probably went smoother than ever before and yet it scares me every time!
Just don't forget anything to do with Minecraft needs multiple backups, then back those up and just in case... However, like Tiger says, watch you don't wish ill upon yourself!

Now that bettergrass is fixed I may have to use this pack again, is it compatible with bettergrass?
also, y u no armor skins :sad.gif:
great pack though.
awsome texture pack! there are some things that need fixing though (i apolagise if these have already been said but i didn't really want to trawel through over 100 pages)
the pumpkins need a proper skin, all i see is some metal bits mixed with lava and water
the actual portal bits need a more texture-y look
why is the nether blue?
apart from that everything is awsome!
If you read the first page, then you would know that you need the texture patcher. That'll take care of all your problems.
Computer is back to the way it was. The new HD was no good, so I just plopped this one back in.
So...yay?

This is correct what Bloodsoul says. Everyone has to make sure you use the patcher regularly. Get used to it and how it works cause any pack that is released should or could use the patcher for many custom things (yes...even 16x16).

There should be some armors in the "Extras" folder. Glimmar hasn't made the custom armor yet (it's on his to-do list), but several other users have uploaded some as placeholders.

On another note, I need to stop promising I'll post more, every time I do, I disappear. So I won't try to post more, but I might, if I get everything sorted out. Also, I may actually do something on Pipeworld eventually, maybe. Hopefully. Probably. Yeah, probably.
