Hey, I've always loved this pack, just a little suggestion.
This update, Notch added something to the redstone. If you have tiles directly under the current redstone tiles, They will overlap the current redstone texture ingame, and they will not be tinted. So you can thrown the pipe textures below with the little red parts on top, and you have the old redstone pipes working again.
Glimmar is aware of the new Redstone effects, but he is unwilling to immediately switch back to the pipe version. He plans to play around with it a bit and see what he can come up with. Just wait, I'm sure he'll come up with something worthwhile.
At least this person states that the textures are from us (yes...they loved me and you and John Smith this time)
The above has wasted enough of my time now, Gestank, I'm sure you'll agree. I will get back to you on the lava, mate, but I feel I need a rest after the above. Lol! I get the feeling someone was trying to teach us a lesson! :biggrin.gif:

This is exactly what I need, Thanks Glimmar. I also like that flying airship mod and the many pictures you posted. It will help me build Clockwork Town.
Thanks, mate. I'm not sure if the airship mod has been updated yet though. I think pchan3 the mod creator is away for a few weeks.

recently my main base has been annyoning the hell out of me so i decided to back-up my save file and completly destroy it with TNT ... there is now a crater all the way to bedrock
Flip! That sounds drastic, oddbaall! What you going to do with the crater?

Thanks, SpinBuilder. ksheep is right, I'm hoping to have a chance next week to have a play with the redstone wires again, with the new overlay that is. However, I think the more pressing problem is the soapy rain creating all those bubbles, Lol! :biggrin.gif:

Yeah..think I actually got more irritated at the moron with 3 posts more than anything else there. But, just like you, smelled a rat there.
Only lesson I learnt (yes..that's now a werd), was that i no longer want to help as much any more. Sad to say it, but I feel unappreciated after all that (as a helper). Problem is, that it's stacked with real life situations just like that at the moment. You feel like you've come a long way, then get dragged back to the start because of new people who don't respect "community efforts" any more.
If it weren't for your posts there, I woulda got a ton more nasty...so thanks for that at least...lol!

I haven't shown my support in here for too long :'(
I love how this pack looks with the fixed sidegrass though Glimmar, it's awesome! Surprising how something so small could make such a difference...
Oh and that drawing looks amazing! :biggrin.gif:
How are you planning to colour it? On the computer or by hand?

It would be a lot easier to respect that guy's opinion on all things texture pack-y if he had actually spent the time and effort to make one...
Otherwise, I just don't know where he was getting that from... (and only 3 posts? he may have been a prowler, but that... still... yea...) >.>
I definitely appreciate all the hard work you've done around here though Gestank, you've made many textures for this pack, you have 2 FULL packs running at the same time AND you made all those animations xD
I think you have to be one of the hardest workers around here!
In all seriousness. I made it sound worse than it is. Just seemed like a long, weird week. Left a bad taste in my mouth. But I have candy to wash that away (Easter candy).
:biggrin.gif:
(Feels like family in Glimmar's post...I like it here)

Hehe, no worries :smile.gif:
I have more chocolate from easter than you could poke a stick at! (or several sticks)
I think I just need to have a relaxing time playing minecraft and eating chocolate. Heaven. :biggrin.gif:
Here's something I pooped out in a few hours after dinner last night. It was a from a picture someone sent me as a request for a project we are working on.
Yes, I'm still alive, and the texture pack I have planned is on hiatus as I have plenty of homework to catch up on! The good news is, Gestank had agreed to help me a while ago (Not sure if he's still willing to as I haven't gotten back to him for a while). But, summer is coming round the corner, meaning I HAVE FREE TIME UP AHEAD! Reading the other thread with the cut and patchwork texture packs made with other people's work thing kind of gave me a light chuckle at the expense of Glimmar (Sorry, I just thought the would-be attorney's argument was quite funny), I dunno if I still have permission to use the Steampunk pack as a stepping stone for the Dieselpunk pack I'm (supposed to be) working on.
But yeah, I'm back, and hopefully the Dieselpunk Texture Pack will not go the way of Half-Life 2: Episode 3.

@Gestankfaust - yes the server is back...and running 1.5_02...where have you been? LOL fixed it like 2 days ago.
@ObliviousObi - thx...it was rather easy(lots of straight lines)...the most complicated part was getting the roof lines to match up and the dome...which turned out beautifully...should see it from the inside!

Maybe I'll take a break from "volunteer texture pack support" and actually play Minecraft for a while.
For now, I'm off to bed. Goodnight my friends.

I know it is straight lines, but it still looks great.
Yeah, I suck at interiors too...well I think I suck, but when pressed I can squeeze out a nice room
