Glimmar. That is the most sexiest Steam Wolf I have ever seen.

Glad you like, Reaper! :smile.gif:

Hey! I need some help here.
I'm new to Minecraft and have been using this wonderful Steampunk texture for about a week. I noticed the kz.png for Extreme Paintings here *changed recently* with lots more stuff. I've been using the older one successfully, so I've tried to put the new one in my game but it isn't working correctly. There are pictures that aren't showing up in my game. By experimentally overlaying Glimmar's new kz.png over the original Extreme Paintings kz.png, I see that any of Glimmar's pictures that conflict in size with the original and are not put on a blank colored space are not showing up. Pictures of Glimmar's which are on a plain colored space on the original kz.png show up fine, but if there is another painting (mostly in other sizes) underneath in my overlay, then they are not in the game. I've put the new .class files into the game for Extreme Paintings... what am I missing? Anyone else have this problem?
Giving a full answer here to your question, just in case anyone else is interested in using the Xtreme Art paintings: The Xtreme art files won't work unless you first install the 'Xtreme Art' mod, and to make practical use of it you'll also need to install the 'Punch-a-Picture' mod too (allows you to punch a pic on the wall until you get the one you want).
Both mods were being updated by someone who was posting updates in the thread of the creators of the mods, so you may have to wend your way through the posts to find the most up-to-date version. It's certainly worth the effort and I'd help search too, but I really have to use what time I have to finish off my pack update.
Now assuming you have both of the mods and they've been updated for Minecraft beta 1.4_01 (just one .class file for each mod) drop them into the 'minecraft.jar' file, then exchange the normal size kz.png file for the fuller Xtreme Art file of your choice by swapping them in the 'art' folder in my texture pack zip file. They should (if the mods have been properly updated) now show up properly in game. I may be missing something in your question and with working on the update I've not had time to look back over my favourite mods...including the painting mods. So I apologise for not being more helpful.
@ The_Fool76: Haha! I know what you mean. Well, you'll just have to see the steampunk dog as a kind of upgrade (or downgrade) to the Doctors dog(K9), but there's alternative textures aplenty in my OP to build a nice time machine and Lord it over the universe. Lol!
@ Captain Pighard: (love your name by the way ) Someone did start a 'Doctor Who' theme pack a while back and I can't remember if it got finished. I imagine there'd be a lot of interest still. Seems perfect for a game were everytime you start on a new world, it's as if you've just stepped out of a Tardis! :smile.gif:
seeing as you are a god among men in terms of texturing, answer me this, how were you able to do the wool textures so well? God knows i've tried but they all end up.....well......crap.
Ha ha! Thanks mate, It was one of those textures I resorted to downloading endless pics of cotton material and searching for a nice little area to reduce further, then just a case of teasing out any horrible bits of repitition! I don't really think of it as being one of my better attempts. Lol! :smile.gif:

Nice wolves! I must say, I enjoy that sinister looking dire wolf more =).
Oh! You're a hard one to please! :smile.gif: Gestankfaust will be pleased though. :biggrin.gif: His Dire Wolf is very cool!
I wanted to try something very obviously Steampunk for the wolf, as it allowed me to mess with more ideas. Also, animals made from boxes, kind of lends itself to convincing robotic shape and movement too. Yes, I know it's Minecraft and it's supposed to be blocky and cute and old school and all, but there's no harm done trying to do something a little different and seeing how far something can be taken. :smile.gif:
How do I change blocks I tried copy and pasting a new cobblestone and mossy but it made all the , , , , have a white background.
You need to use a photo editor that has an alpha channel, such as Photoshop, GIMP, or Paint.NET. Do not use Microsoft Paint, as it will make the transparent parts white, which sounds like what happened with you.
Solution...MC Patcher correctly applied over a fresh download of Minecraft. I've found xau's mcpatcher-1.1.12_02 to still be the best version for patching my pack. I can't get custom water or lava to work with xau's new experimental beta version of the patcher and I suspect if the water and lava isn't being patched correctly, it may also effect the compass and the watch. :smile.gif:
Even mcpatcher-2.0.0-beta3 still doesn't animate the water (haven't checked the lava). But I can live with that for now. Though seems strange to apply the mcpatcher before installing the mods where you used to patch last.
Um, I've srry to ask this question but what is orange block in your texture pack that kind of looks like orange bricks with moss between each of the bricks, I can't figure it out.
Lol! I'm enjoying all the Doctor Who brainstorming! :smile.gif:

Wow! The steampunk wolf is amazing. I would have never envisioned it that way, its so eye catching.
I just updated my map over at my MC World Map account. Its now playable on MineCraft 1.4_1.
Plus I have a new one with plenty of wolves in it as well.
Well anyways, I am very patiently, yet excitedly awaiting your latest update.
As always thanks for all your hard work Glimmar.
Oh yeah, I forgot about this:
That's on my wolves map.
Thanks for your continued, amazing support, Pjpuas. Hope you like the Steamwolf when I update...these things have a way of disappointing in the 'flesh'.
Sorry about the slightly cluttered state of the file, I've been updating the same terrain.png since a very early version, so old stuff gets left in the unused spaces....
That is indeed a linking book on the crafting bench, by the way.
And yes redstone torches have been turned blue. I will always remember this one cave in RiVen with creepy creepy blue torches and drum music, so thats where those came from.
I totally overlooked this, mate! Looks awesome and I'd like to use it in the 'extras' folder in the texture pack if I may. You've put a lot of work into that.
My apologies, Jonathan_Kent, that I only discovered it when going back over stuff folk have posted, to see what I can include in the next update.
I must say I love this pack for general adventuring. I'm not skilled enough to build steam-punk style constructions, however, my little manor looks great with this pack. This was my first texture pack and I have never strayed away from it for long. Mad props to you.

Please allow me to worship the ground you walk upon for making this texture pack. It fulfills unknown caverns of my heart with glee and oil.
I keep rotating on what texture packs I use to play Minecraft, but I always end up back here. With my love. The Glimmar's Steampunk texture pack. <3
I am really excited for when the Adventure is released for the client, and using this with the story mode.
A million diamonds for you!

Curse PremiumMany thanks, you two, I appreciate you taking the time to post and the feedback...very encouraging!
Dalek Creepers that scream "EXTERMINAAAAAATE!!!!" instead of hissing, right before they go BOOM.
And Skeletons as Cybermen!
