We're still hosting you up at Minecraft Exchange, Glimmar. We're up-to-date with v1.9.1 currently. Keep up the good work!
Thanks so much, mate. :smile.gif: I really appreciate you updating like that. I feel stretched thin on here all the time, but a price to pay for infinite sandbox possibilities inherent with Minecraft. Will be updating again soon after Notch works his magic, once I get my hands on the wolf template. Then I can introduce any other little edits I've made too.
@ kSheep: I much appreciate your patient help around here too. :smile.gif:
Best thing you can do, is delete you bin folder, reinstall (meaning it will download the necessary files), then put Glimm's pack into the "texture pack" folder, run Xau's HD patcher, then run the game and click on the texture packs and mods button. From this screen, make sure the pack is selected. Then play and it should run fine.

i hope you don't mind but i photoshopped the pumpkinblur.png into goggles for my own personal use because i wasn't too fond of the whole diving bell mask. (also its stange flying through the sky wearinga large mask) No offense intended and great pack anyway.
keep up the good work
Thanks for the compliment, hatwhale, no offence is taken. :smile.gif: The beauty of Minecraft is being able to make of it what we will. My pumpkinblur.png was made specifically for Victorian/Edwardian Steampunk age diving tech using the blocky pumpkin shape, hence the brass looking diving helm. :biggrin.gif:
It sounds an interesting modification you've made, would you care to share? Others might like the idea of wearing goggles particularly for the airship and I can't possibly give folk everything they'd like to have.
Thanks mate.

It still dont works... what i do?
You might need to give a little more info, celo753. I assume you've put my texture pack zip file in the Minecraft Texture Pack folder and still in .zip form? You must have or you wouldn't be seeing my pack or getting all the glitches.
When you run xau's MC Patcher, click the 3rd 'Browse' button down on the right hand side. This should open up the Minecraft Texture Packs folder where you put my zip file. Select my texture pack. If you did that right, the little 'Tile Size' window should say 32x32. Make sure everything is ticked at the bottom (except Hi-Res Font). Then click the large 'Patch' button. The program will scroll down and should indicate "Success!". If it doesn't, then you've done something wrong. If all is well so far, there should be no reason why my pack and Minecraft hasn't been successfully patched. Also make sure you have a freshly downloaded copy of Minecraft free from all other mods etc. Once patched you can try re-installing all your favourite mods. The MC Patcher programme usually doesn't conflict with any popular mods.
Hope this helps. If not, you might try the MC Patcher thread for help too. :smile.gif:
I did all u say.
it said me:
Success! probably.
but it still dont works... i hate my house being a crazy thing maden out of portal that dont teleport and fire that is a X-RAY. (It works like i x-ray i used it to find a cave) but i dont need it more.
Edit: oh the thing that wasnt to be checked was checked. It is working now =D
But i still dont got how to install the airship mod.

You need to check out installation of the airship on pchan3's airship mod thread. Quite a few explanations to help out there: pchan3's Steampunk Airship Mod
Things to check through:
1. Make sure you have the latest airship mod.
2. install Risugami's Modloader.
3. Install pchan3's Airship 'class' files.
4. Install 32x32 icons into the gui folder in the minecraft.jar for inventory use.
5. Install Airship 'base' texture in 'item' folder in minecraft.jar
6. Install seperate Airship 'balloon' texture of choice.
You will need the use of an archiver programme like 7-zip to open the minecraft.jar

Meh, nothing special.
i only had 10 minutes and it's hard to be neat with my old mouse. it's not even a laser mouse, it has a ball!
also i couldn't be arsed to get rid of the smudges in the lens, i'll just say that it is an effect.
Hey! I like how that looks. It does look instantly very steampunkish. If I ever get back to working on the pumpkin.blur, I think it would be worth doing something like goggles as an alternative. Thanks mate, don't knock it, that's pretty cool and got me thinking. Would you mind if I include it in the 'extras' folder in my next update. I will of course credit you as having edited it? :smile.gif:
I think I see myself mostly replacing the wool with some of the different metal textures and perhaps an extra wood planking for variety. I'm interested to know what others do with their wool blocks?
In the past: Built a 'hedge' maze with green wool, decorated a room with a stylised flame pattern on the walls (white, yellow, orange, red, black) - neither still standing, or I'd give screenshots. All I currently have is a very simple rug:
I have no idea why the screenshot turned out so dark, it's not that dark in game.

I think he was referring to wool with alternate (non-wooly) textures.
Well, I may as well post my progress on my texture pack. I have the terrain.png all but done, and I've put some progress into the items. Here it is if you want to try it.

Oh! Yes! Sorry, Faizah. ksheep's right. A confusing question from me, but I am still interested in how 'normal' wool is used too, because as yet I just haven't used the stuff, either in it's fluffy state or as alternative building materials. Your mentioning of using wool as a hedge texture has given me an idea for another run of textures!

Hiyas Tlos!
Downloaded it and will run around in game with it tonight a bit.

That's lookin' excellent, mate! Won't get the chance tonight to try it out, but love some of the new things on the terrain.png, especially that glowstone and the chest. Now I know what you've been busy with! :smile.gif:
Just thought I'd tell y'all that I had entered the Toy Box Minecraft contest on Worth1000 the other day, they are currently voting. Feel free to swing by and see what everyone has done.
Came across an interesting mod that I think some people here might enjoy: The Piston. It adds a piston that you can place which can push blocks around, as well as throw certain things (mobs, sand, and gravel). I think that some interesting steampunk contraptions could be made with this. Just need to update the texture to look different. The only problem (for me at least) is that it uses ModLoader 5, and I'm sticking with 4 until all my mods are updated and those that are updated get some bugs worked out.

It's a cool idea for a competition. I didn't realize there was so much going on outside of texturing. Lol!

I was looking at it just yesterday too! What a great mod indeed.
It should be fairly easy to apply one of my metal textures to that piston to give it a little more 'grunge' and character. Given time, it seems anything is possible in Minecraft? I noticed someone asked on the thread if it could be used to make robots, meaning was it possible to fix the piston to moveable blocks. Imagine the possibilities that would present for a Steampunk world full of walking behemoth machines. Even as it stands, with pchan3/MaudDib's rotating wheels and this piston, I'm sure some epic machines/factories could be created.
There are so many mods I would love to support for users of this texture pack, but I have to be realistic and admit I just don't have the time. If anyone would like to apply any of my textures to any applicable mods, feel free to do so...I'd appreciate a little mention for being the originator of the textures, but you could obviously take credit for what you do with them and any applicable mod graphics could be offered here as part of the Steampunk theme.
Incidentally folks, I'm still waiting to see someone create some vast armoured Steampunk tank or wheeled vehicle using the new textures combined with the Xtreme paintings mod...mobile looking...town sized... 'battleship' anyone?
