Blue 'Company' Minecart Variation for Glimmar's Steampunk


d95 requested a blue minecart. I've gone one better and created a new type of cart. I call it the 'Company' minecart. It is possible to have two initials (at a tight pinch 3) on each side of a coloured minecart...choice of cart and decoration colour possible too.


Just so there's no confusion:

Are you asking for a personalised minecart? If so, read the limitations of the offer...2 (at a pinch 3) initials. My Minecart, choice of minecart colour, and choice of decoration colour. No variation of cart design, no variation of decoration design. Simple and sweet as listed and illustrated in the accompanying pic here and at the top of my OP on page 1.

i saw the pipeworld video about a long minecrat track and i saw a BIG CAVE underground with a city(WOW) that gave me even more inspiration!

It would appear that url and simg don't get along very well. You have to use img tags if you want to have the picture act as a link. Kinda annoying if you ask me, but oh well.

That was how I had things prior to the phishing attack and assumed we were supposed to use 'simg' for all images or they wouldn't display! Oh well, thanks again, guys. (one each)

Your Personalised Steampunk Minecarts

Here are the second 5 completed minecarts (with appropriately coloured icons) delivered in the same order their owners posted requests on my thread. The next batch will be posted as soon as possible...the paints still needs to dry! :biggrin.gif:

ssaint, I've done two versions for you, as your 'SS' initials in one looked slightly more 'Third Reich' than the other, Lol!. Please note: ssaint is not a neo-nazi or anything, the SS are initials for ssaint...no dramatic reports to admin please!

Rename your minecart skin to 'cart' and drop it in the 'item' folder in 'Glimmar's Steampunk' texture pack in your Minecraft texture packs folder (or your texture pack of choice). Make sure you put it in your active texture pack and not the 'minecraft.jar', otherwise everytime you run Minecraft it will get over-ridden by the cart skin in whichever texture pack you're using...meaning you won't see any change.

The icons are colour coordinated with the minecart of your choice, but you don't need to use them to get the cart to work. However, if you want everything to match perfectly, you need to paste these co-ordinated icons over the top of the existing cart icons on the 'items.png' sheet in the 'gui' folder. Use a graphics programme that can handle transparency, like Photoshop, Gimp or Paint.net.

Haha! You sound as fuddled as me Kaleo! Lol! CandyBlu's his pic (I hope!), his (or her...better not jump to conclusions) name is 'biodude94566', and yes, he's on the list. Thanks for a smashing compliment. Compliments like that help spur me along through the barren times, when i think there's just too much to do and I feel like walking off into the Minecraft sunset and just explore and build. :biggrin.gif:

Well, you can, but whether or not I'll do it is another thing! :smile.gif: I'm rushed off my feet as it is and the minecart personalisation event was a one off. I might do something like it again when I've a little more time, but I'm not really looking to personalise everything or anything on request.

All ideas and suggestions are welcome, but not necessarily acted upon. I'm only human and I only do the things that interest me at the time. It's all free and I like it that way, as no-one can really complain when I don't do something or I get bored! Lol!

It's the boat, tyler4768.

I am hoping to do some more designs for the airship soon and pchan3 has a surprise up his sleeve using one of my textures in a forthcoming update to his airship mod. Look out for that one...unless he changes his mind or drops the skin!
