Just posted a 'HowTo'-video for the pchan3's Airship mod check it out here:
Excellent 'HowTo', mate! I'm going to use it at the top with the pics, if I may, it's awesome! Many thanks for putting it together. :smile.gif:

Might I say such a fantastic job on the texture pack so far.
I normally start a new world upon applying a new texture pack, but I just wanted to see what my server would look like with this texture pack and might I say, it's nothing short of epic. :biggrin.gif:
Thanks, mate! :smile.gif: Might I say that room looks nothing short of luxurious. I realize that for many, because my pack is quite radically different from the norm, any previous constructions might look strange, so it's nice to get a positive word like this. Thanks again, WelshyRhys. By the way, I have a very clever relative called Rhys, whose part Welsh...small world! :biggrin.gif:

I'm a bit of a Jules Verne fan myself so I made a tribute to the Nautilus. I've taken quite a few liberties with the interior, but tried to stay close to the basic shape for the exterior. These textures are perfect for this kind of Minecraftin'. The ship is currently in drydock undergoing repairs.
That's amazingly beautiful, theWOODman. Many thanks for sharing and for using my pack. I will use one of the pics for the OP...let me know if you'd rather I didn't?

I was aware of that mod, but that's the first time I've seen it used with my textures. That interior shot looks awesome! Has it been upgraded for beta 1.3 yet?

ALWAYS is explodding crocadile ?? they look like thi [SSSS]
i not is buld House . without Crocadile expoldding !!! plz want have i not [SSSS] !!!!!!!!!
For those that use Zan's Minimap someone posted an alternate round.png file that I think fits more with the steampunk theme. Looks like it will be added later as an alternate within minimap, but until then you can manually add it.
Oooo! I've just had a look and it's very nice indeedy! Thanks mate! have you managed to get the airship to work yet? :smile.gif:
Yep got it working once I figured out where things actually go and it doesn't interfere with playing on my server, even though it doesn't work there (yet?)

Yes it has. That is Moogles Ramps, slopes, stairs and corners mod. There are a few small glitches with the textures on corner blocks, but nothing noticeable. If not for the slopes, I would have to build this at a much LARGER scale to get the smooth effect. I also love the roundness that can be achieved for doorways, arches, etc.
Here's one more shot. The above photo is the crane I'm working on and the below shot is the nose of the ship which is the time machine room. I may go back and change a lot of this, especially the interior. This is all still a work in progress.
I've decided that since with this texture pack the bed is a time machine and the cake is a medical doohicky, etc. that there should also be custom tooltips for items that have been changed. I am in the process of working on it right now, and if Glimmar is interested in this I will gladly email him my work.

My Website. I make mods for Minecraft and am also making my own game.
I work on the most "Steampunk" ship that still exists/floats: The Olympia, made in 1892. This warship uses two triple-expansion steam engines, an 80volt electrical system as well as oil lamps, two dynamo rooms to produce that power, a massive boiler room, two steam driven turrets, and steam hoists for ash from the boiler room! The port engine is still functional and the steam hoists are fully usable (I'll take a video of them in action - coolest steam engines ever!). Here is a few pics!
Some of the brass controls in the engine room
10 Foot connecting rod for one of the steam pistons
Brass Dials
Brass and wood pipe insulation
Hope you all enjoy these, its hard to take pictures of everything since its such a tight ship, and also I'm usually too busy with restoration to take pictures!

That looks great. Very well done. Looks like it just might beat out my rendition (made of cobblestone because I didn't have enough of anything else to finish it with). The slopes really add a lot of character.

I would be very interested in that, mate. Thanks so much for your time. Due credit will be given if I can use it.
@ StugAce: Fantastic pics, mate, I envy your work there. Many thanks for sharing. For many years I used to work in the Museum Service here in the North West of England. One of my favourite places I worked at was an old Victorian Cotton Mill with all it's heavy machinary (I'm no mechanic...just worked on displays and graphics, etc). Those Victorians were ingenious people!
Loving all the pics, folk! Thank you for the inspiration.
Another little pressy...
Pig Balloon for pchan3 airship mk2
Poor little pig! He doesn't look too pleased at being blown up for airship purposes. Definately needs some 'piggy' airship sounds!
Rename to 'balloon' then follow pchan's instructions for installation.
That's great. Currently, I don't have much completed, but here's what I have so far. Just unzip it and add the lang folder to the minecraft.jar. PLEASE NOTE: This overwrites the old files so even if you switch texture packs it will still say "time machine" and "medical gizmo," etc.
Also, because I have no modding experience, if someone wants to take this and modify it to be a real mod that can be removed without destroying the game, please do. Just give me proper credit for the original file.

My Website. I make mods for Minecraft and am also making my own game.
So I installed your texture pack (great selection of stuff by the way).
It mostly looks really awesome, The only problem is that some of the items ended up weird. Such as the red ore from the nether looks like water, the fire doesn’t animate, and clock and compass don’t work.
I’m sure it must be something related to my computer, but I’ve searched all over the internet and haven’t found a solution. I was wondering if you new of anything like it and could suggest something.
I think this is happening for me on every texture pack, which is weird. I tried downloading minecraft again, but same thing happens, so it must be a setting from my computer... Not sure what it could be though.

Did you remember to use the HD patcher? There's a link on the first page. It should fix up your problems in a jiffy.
I have been seeing several texture packs post the number of times their pack has been downloaded. Glimmar do you have any idea how many times your pack has been downloaded? I was just curious.
Just had a bit more progress. The above image shows the torpedo room, the middle pic is of the main bridge with periscope showing ( handles up ), and the bottom pic is of the engine room with my honkin V6 diesel which I'm still working on.
Cool textures. It's a shame that the game changed to where you can't use the redstone dust anymore.

@ CuZnDragon: Great stuff! Many thanks, more skins hopefully today to replace the old one's. :smile.gif:
