Another update to the 'items.png' in the form of new flint, coal and gunpowder, joining the copper buckets I did this morning:
Usual instructions. Rename the file to 'items' and place in the 'gui' folder in my texture pack (no need to re-patch or anything).
This is the last time I'll waste space down here in the thread with updated item sheets. In future check out the OP on page 1 and I'll keep a W.I.P. items sheet there and if you spot anything new you can download, if you feel it's worth it! :smile.gif:
lol can you fix the Pumpkins? They look like water/ fire/ machinery/ and swirly portals all together. when I first saw them I was like WTF. But when I wore the Pumpkin I was like oooooh if only it'd let you stay in water longer.

glimmar your work is brilliant, the items are coming along great. dropping in and checking on this pack every now and again blows my mind. The work people are doing with it is truly awesome, and your textures are a thing to behold.

i not is buld House . without Crocadile expoldding !!! plz want have i not [SSSS] !!!!!!!!!
I would like to create more Armor types for this Mod if you want. I'm quite good at Victorian outfits and military uniforms. However, I do not have the armor format so I can make them. I got an example skin I created, maybe you can implement it into the next update pack!

well done sir.
Thanks, mate. It's a ways to go yet and always a catching up game with Notch's updates and new mods etc., but visits and comments like yours make it pleasurable and worth the effort!

Are you going to make a portal texture?
I'm not in a mad rush to do one, klawz. I've so many other things to finish off first and I'm more than happy with Notch's standard. To be honest I've just never looked at it and not sure what difference a new texture would make! Limited time means I have to try and concentrate on the next most urgent thing that needs doing. At the moment that's the 'items', then I want to tidy up the OP with new alternate textures, items, and users pics and vids. :smile.gif:

Alright, managed to get a couple daytime pictures, as well as a few new things to add. Enjoy.
[see pics above]
Ha ha! You went back in the daytime! Nice work.
Did you mine all the stuff or edit materials in? I'm always curious, because I always do it the hard way, but I have no objections to folk building with unlimited materials for the sheer creative fun of it! What are your on-going plans for this build?

Is it possie to use this on a laggy-fail desktop computer?
If so how? I tried it...but it never even let me in the game D:
Also Steampunk pack+Hangglider mod=win :biggrin.gif:
Fav pack btw

Thanks, mate! :smile.gif:
It should run on nearly every comp. It's only 32x32 and some times folk actually notice a rise in frame-rate. I don't use any fancy animation for lava, water, etc, so that doesn't add to the burden on older comps. My son also runs it on a bog standard laptop that's a couple of years old. If you do manage to get into the game turn the 'render' distance right down (you can pretend it's a Victorian smog...very atmospheric!), it should help aging machines.
I would hope the problem of not being able to get into the game with my pack installed is down to some other factor, but I'm no expert, just being a lowly artist type! :smile.gif: I hope you get things sorted, Wulf, and thanks for all the diamonds, I'll put them to good use!
@ ssaint: Nice to see someone putting those 'Xtreme' paintings to use in all their 'coggy' glory. I'm looking forward to seeing some more amazing machines and vast engine rooms over the coming weeks and months.

You've got me intrigued now.

And here's the layout
Gestankfaust above collects skins together and I include his collection in my pack for all to use. I hope he sees it as it's a nice layout.
as you can see the Nether is horribly wrong (netherrack is all blue and looks like solid water), also the clocks seem to be defect.
Any tips on how to fix it??
You haven't applied the 'MC Patcher' by xau...link and instructions on the first page...in the OP.
There's a statement right at the top of the first page of this thread in big bold letters. All HD (32x32 pixels and up) need this patcher to fix all the graphical glitches that Notch refuses to fix (it is his right of course!). You'll be away and running after that. When you feel more confident, I highly recommend you take a look at MrMessiahs 'BetterLight' mod. You will be staggered by how beautiful it will make Minecraft!

For the most part, everything I have I've mined myself. However, as this is on a multiplayer server, I can't get to the Nether, so all the lightstone was spawned in by the admin.
As for plans… not entirely sure at the moment. I'm thinking of updating the airship, now that I have enough wool to make a much larger airbag. I also have plans to build a couple things some distance away from the main base in a rather interesting natural formation I found. The only problem is that it's a good distance away from my supplies and the spawn area, so I'll have a lot of carting around to do. (Another thought is a submarine, but it looks like a number of other people are having a go at that).
I would include various paintings around my base, as I really LOVE what you've done with them. They give a great sense of atmosphere. However, I am the only person on the server who uses the Steampunk pack at the moment and I've already had a couple people question why I had some totally random pictures lying in odd places, so I decided to take them down.

My son and I have a closed multi-player world now, and we have this problem with collecting Nether materials. One of us has to save off the world to play in single play, collect nether resources, then move the map back to SMP play.
Sorry about the paintings! There's a lot in this pack that causes confusion for others on SMP. Lol!
I'm currently making an enormous mansion. My floor is entirely made of jack 'O lanterns. I may be going a little crazy with SPC.
Ha ha! That's the wonderful thing about Minecraft! It allows us to fulfil our imaginary dreams (however megalomaniac or crazy our imagination might be!).

Indeed! I now have a world where I legitimately work (the one I've already posted) and one using SPC, which will be up some day soon. My inspiration is the inside of the Nautilus from Jules Verne's 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.
