Sorry I haven't been on. My save got corrupted and I didn't keep any backups. Anyways, amazing work Glimmar, and even though I like the functionality of paintings, I think a few should be kept as normal paintings.

all done! arranged like they are in the original sheet, so you can just pop this into your items.png if you'd like to.
I love these , hope they get added , really nice .
Now , I can't find any items.png and have trawled through folders etc even read you put them in the minecraft.jar ? Dont even know how to do that , any jar I clicked on gave an error , so , in the words of one of my fave film quotes , please " Explain , as you would a child " on exactly how I am able to use this , thanks :smile.gif:
Just a quicky post...as much to clarify things in my own befuddled brain, but to let you know what I'm doing at the moment! :smile.gif:
First, thanks everyone for your continued enthusiasm and contributions. I appreciate all your efforts in whatever form they take.
Secondly, I'm just currently putting/wrestling everything together into the latest version (1.8) of 'Glimmar's Steampunk'. Including:
New terrain.png file of textures and Xtreme (More Paintings) art file and 'standard' art file by me (Glim) with alternative Xtreme art by Tiger4Ruler and Arrrg
gui's upgraded by BloodJack with alternatives by Vinegrower
New 'title' screen by Vondell (which, if you are not already using, looks awesome - even more so because he used my textures, so it fits in beautifully! Yay! (I'll get my own done one day. Lol!
Old and 'new' mobs by d95, Zaffa, Vondell, Tiger4Ruler, Harpspiel, Comrade Temuzu and Gestankfaust who also kindly trawled my voluminous thread and collected all the skins together with a list of contributors (thanks again for that, mate). I will have to decide what goes 'up front' and what is included as alternatives...so no hate mail please! :smile.gif:
Steampunk Character Skin pack, kindly compiled by Gestankfaust including many skins by himself and also DarkDiamond, Tlos and Hengehog.
I am currently putting together a simplified items.png so that I don't need to produce two files that easily cause confusion...that's what's delaying me at the moment...that and making sure everything else that should be in and duly credited is there too.
After I get this version of the pack out, I will place alternative items and other textures and new pics on page 1 in the OP for everyone to pic and choose...bear with me on that one...it'll be another big job. I also intend to cast my eye over the items.png file to hopefully have something a little more finished and refined for the next update, but Vondell and Tlos have given me a head start in that direction, for which I am very grateful. :smile.gif:
I also intend to upload some more pics of how best to use my new painting textures. Most if not all have been designed for utilitarian use, in many cases designed to mesh together. However, in some cases if not used properly (particularly those with black backgrounds), may look horrible. As mentioned with my previous example pics. a lot of the paintings work much better set into alcoves where the view is restricted, eg. the statues and steam engines.
If I've got time I'll add a water lily leaf pad and flower to the Wild Grass textures, but I've still not had chance to have another go at improving the grass texture yet...still not happy with the way it looks at all!
That's enough for now, to let you know I'm not just having fun in 'Glimmar's World'...well I am, but not spending nearly as much time as I'd like just building! :sad.gif:
Posted this in another thread, but here is my Gilman House and Marsh office Building from Innsmouth using Gilmmar's pack. Still very much a WIP and I am having a hard time focusing between this and a huge underground/water chamber which will house a bunch of sunken temples/statues of cthulhu. :biggrin.gif:
If this isnt the place, let me know and I'll snip it.
Oh and Gilmmar, if Notch can take 2 weeks off during game developement, I am pretty sure you can take at least that amount off and work on your world :biggrin.gif: I think we have all benefitted from your passion for the game and the Texture Pack, and want you to have the most fun you possibly can. :smile.gif:

Curse PremiumOnce again, I'm humbled. These are absolutely amazing, hats off to you.
yes, it should fit right in on a 512x512 item sheet. :smile.gif:
thanks! :biggrin.gif: contributing things to this pack is quickly becoming a hobby of mine.

I'm not going to lie, I've secretly always hated every tools retexture I've come across, yours on the other hand, has me shocked at the beauty of it.
Another variation
