I have no idea why, But there seems to be a problem.
I was trying to add a different texture GUI, Armor, and Mobs to go along with the terrain.png, for as long as it took for you to finish this incredible texture.
But now I noticed, it won't go past the mojang screen, and it crashes.
Even after I re updated it, and only added the terrain.png file alone...
Edit: This is the error report I recieve upon showing the mojang screen for at least, 5 - 10 seconds.

Judging on the Cookay's post, it might be something involving minecraft...
Who knows, I just really wish this can be fixed somehow, this is by far my most favorite texture, and I don't want to be unable to use it :<

This is a 64x64px texture pack, you need to use Xau's patcher because minecraft doesn't support the resolution by default.
I was getting problems too when I tried loading different parts of different texture packs together too. I'm wondering if it's perhaps cause of the mixing of 16, 32, and 64...

The thing is, Is that I use xau's patcher, after I stick in both water files, and the terrain.
Plus, set it to 64x64, Which I suppose is what I'm supposed to do, if not, Please correct me.
I got this to work at one point before, and it worked perfect for at least 2 days, until I thought out to combine pieces of texture packs, but seeing as how it doesn't use 64 by default, I guess I'm just going to continue anticipating further updates for this texture.
Edit: *Face Palm*
I just realized what was going wrong >.<...
The patcher was automatically detecting the backup minecraft.jar file I had saved... :sleep.gif:;;
Okay, so I've been racking my brains trying to come up with a good idea for the solid ore blocks. Anyone got any good ideas? I could have sworn there was a gold flooring, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.

I'm having a really hard time getting the textures to work. I've been replacing the texture.png file using 7zip, then using the patcher, but when I start the game the only things that are changed is the grass and stuff that the patcher did.
All the guides I found for putting in texture packs are for .zip files, but it should work the same with just one .png, right?
Anyways, I love the pictures. Can't wait to use in in-game.
I still can't get it to work... and yes, I am using the HD Texture Fix, but I can't click Patch for some reason...
If the minecraft.jar file has already been patched once, i don't believe you can patch it again. You will need to use a fresh copy of minecraft.jar. Someone correct me if i am wrong about that.

You should be able to open the minecraft.jar file with 7zip and just drag and drop the terrain.png file into it. Make sure that you are dropping it into the main minecraft.jar directory, the root directory.
Oh hey, I was just walking by and thought I'd drop off an update.
The Iron/Steel, Gold, and Diamond blocks. Took Fireshock's advice and used carpet patterns. The source he provided was so good I was tempted to use straight rips from the game, but in the end chose to redraw them myself. I'm glad I did! What do you guys think?

Loving the gold and iron blocks. Makes for great flooring.

It helps if you increase the brightness of the image you used for dirt.png.

Wild world has a egypt flooring, I forget its exact look but it may work for gold.

There's gold and white tiling, steel flooring, and blue diamond tiling. That all should work.
