Update bros. I added the iron door, which took way longer to make than I expected. Used the city hall door as recommended by Kool. Thanks man! Also, I tweaked the smooth stone, again, so that it wraps perfectly. Check the original post, I updated the screenshot of the ores to show how it wraps. Speaking of, since I had to change them anyway, I made the ores a little different. They're similar still, but different enough to easily tell them apart. Especially diamonds and coal, which even confused me the other day. Oh yeah, and anyone use this on a snow map yet? I have no screenies of my snow tiles D:
Oh yeah, terrain.png is updated if you want to download it.
You are a beautiful person and I want to have your babies.
EDIT: Seriously.
No *I* want to have them!!!
Loving the updates, im seriously concerned about losing this pack with the new update... i hear theres 5 new blocks inc. I hope you will continue to update, because i cannot play without this pack anymore.

Hahaha, you guys will have to discuss that with my girlfriend. Knowing her she'd probably be okay with it. :tongue.gif:
Seriously though, yeah, I totally plan on continuing to update this after the Halloween update, don't worry! Not sure if there will be suitable AC textures to use, but if there aren't, I'm pretty sure I can whip some up in the same style.
im not sure if anyone else will agree with me, but i like obsidian having flecks of purple in it, i use it for beds (its meant to look like a pretty blanket lol) with your obsidian my beds looked hideous, i was about to change the bed material when i thought of recolouring your grass into black and purple (im suckish at photoshop so it didnt turn out very good) but you get the idea.
i dont wanna tell you how to make your stuff (since its mostly fabulous!) but its just my feedback.
I did a small edit to the trees for my own game, so I thought I'd share them here. I tried getting the colors closer to the AC ones and made the log top/bottom texture look more like the stumps from AC. (Ignore the pink treetops, it's from an experiment with a texture pack that I'm considering making.)

Also, my animated water tile that I made to go with the AC theme:
I'm loving this pack, so much. It's inspired me to start my own on the side too! :biggrin.gif:
That's a good idea minergirl, I also really like the lightened wood planks!
didnt think anyone would notice that, i only lightened them because i found the rooms to be too dark with the darker wood. It was also a bit reddish for my taste.

love that water, but aren't there meant to be four frames (to make it animate) if you could share all of them id be greatful ^^
but anyways dan i just want to praise you on your awesome skills in texturing. I wish i knew how to do this stuff. just trying to get things to tile does my head in :tongue.gif:
Ive been telling everyone about this pack and they all agree its really high quality stuff you're making here.
Thanks for your ideas Tryst, I'd actually love to use your trunk top piece if you don't mind. I actually just finished the water though. I actually decided to use the waterfall texture from AC instead of the coastline water, just because it seems like it would make more sense in actual waterfalls in game. Thanks though!
Anyway, yeah, I updated the terrain.png file to add water and changed the obsidian to be more like minergirl suggested. Oh, and I added two more files to download to the OP if you want. Basically, Xau's patcher allows you to make custom tiles for still and flowing water, with animation. If you don't use them, you'll still have the same textures, basically, but if you do the still water will be animated and the waterfalls will move faster, which looks better in my opinion. Just drag them into your minecraft.jar file like you would the terrain.png file, and if you've used the most recent version of Xau's patcher, they'll automatically replace the water tiles!

No problem, it looks great!
Exactly as I imagined =D

It animates anyway even if you replace all the frames with the same thing, a lot of texture packs do it this way as far as I've noticed.
so it does. im using your water now. good job :biggrin.gif:
Thanks! :biggrin.gif:
Do you have a recolored still water tile to go with that new one you made? The original one is a darker blue and they really clash a bit.

Totally forgot. This is what I'm currently using:

It's based on the modern dresser, for the single chest, and modern cabinet, for the double chest. Modern was always my favorite furniture set.
Anyway, yeah, updated terrain.png as usual. Hope you guys like it.

Thanks for the update!
Modern was my favorite too. :smile.gif:
