Is there anyway I can only have the purple lighting effect from the shaders? I don't want waving wheat, DoF etc because they kill my computer but I like the style of the bloom.
Ditto on this, but I don't want the DoF or bloom. I love the waving wheat, though.
It would be great to suggest a shader that was more modular :smile.gif: I would ask Fith on GitHub HERE; he doesn't read this thread often, but responds quickly on Github.
yyyeeeh I'm having the same problems as smotpoker. If theres any way to fix it. Please let us know. Or least update the shader so it ain't bugged. :tongue.gif:
It's not Frenden's shader. Any problems you should address the creator of the shader settings (his github link is here somewhere).
Never said it was his. I'm just saying that whoever updated the shader needs to be fixed, cause I'm having the same problem as smotpoker. Plus everything's like a grid because theres outlines on the blocks. Sooooo yeeeehh... >.>

You can get rid of that by disabling MSAA or enabling FSAA 2x (which might substantially lower your FPS depending on your system).

When I was trying the shaders, turning it off fixed every problem I was having so, give that a shot :tongue.gif:

I'm really liking where this texture pack is going as you keep adding more to it! It gives the game a more solid feel, especially the little details you've added like bolts on the iron blocks and doors.
I'm kinda new to Minecraft, I've been playing for almost a month and I still don't know everything. So I was wondering, how do you get the cabinets and countertops and stuff like that? I would really appreciate a reply.

You will need an image manip app; (Examples: GIMP, Photoshop, Pixelmator), a basic understanding of copy-paste and the selection tool in your application. Once you have that, open the texture file(s) and copy/paste the alternative textures over the defaults.

Right, so I've barely learned Minecraft and you expect me to know how to manipulate textures?

Apples and Oranges. Being able to use a selection tool, use a copy and paste function, and save are all in the realm of "doable" by even the most modest, unintuitive PC users.
Get a program that lets you modify these image files (.psd, .png, should support transparency, I recommend The Gimp, other users may be able to give you their recommendations)
Open terrain.png in the Frenden Pack archive, use the program's tools to copy-paste textures over the appropriate default "zones," and save it.
If that is too difficult a task, or the idea of self-research is so pungent that you can't bother to try, then I would recommend staying away from modifying texture packs or installing mods completely.
Hi,
I wanted to say thanks for this amazingly fun texture pack! This has been amongst my favorites for a while. I have some worlds that I even dedicate to this pack only. :smile.gif:
Coming from someone who told you that he loved the simple, clean, and blocky direction before (and begged you to fork the pack) you've finally won me over to your new direction. 8.10 is now my favorite iteration of your pack since you started and I couldn't care less about looking back.
The grass is absolutely perfect now. Please, no touch! :smile.gif:

I also get this weird pattern on pigs, but couldn't find any to take a screenshot of.
This is the actual texture pack art. Nothing glitches at all this is the natural look.
Here are some comparison screenshots:
