I haven't played with my biome colors in so long, I have no idea if they need to be changed or not. I hate fiddling with patchers and stuff only for things to break with every update.
Guys I'm working on a big Kraken from the Frenden's picture, so hold on tight when i do screens, now just a schematics
Frenden, Please do not change Netherrack, it is jus perfetc for skin BTW, I got Scary thunderstorm outside my house im scared :S, everything vibrate , pretty much like in Minecraft :biggrin.gif:
Might steal this and ninja-build it next to my friend's pirate ship :biggrin.gif: Awesome work! Keep us updated with schematics!

The closest I've come to attempting something that big was a torso-up skeleton that was rising from the water on an old SMP server. He was reaching out with both arms (each of which was climbable with treasure chests in his hands) and had a full 3D rib cage with individual ribs and all that jazz. When that server went belly-up, I was so sad.
It's so hard to keep up with this thread now. You've gotten a huge influx of users it seems Frenden.
Can we see some animal teasers for the new revamp?
I can't find the download for the regular Frenden texture pack. All I get is some texture pack with blurry grass, dirt, and stone... oh, and some droopy creeper... My game looks nothing like the screenshots in the OP! Am I in the wrong thread?

ignoring the undertones in this post...
all of the textures are included as alternates either in the terrain.png (in currently unused game spaces) or in the included terrainTiles.psd file. you will need a basic understanding of copy-pasting using an image manip app.
alternate mob files are included as well. you will simply need to appropriately rename them.

Ignoring whatever the hell you meant by "undertones," I just found the thread like I always do (through Google) but this is a different texture pack. Or are you saying that this is the new "normal" Frenden pack?

It isn't a different texture pack. Frenden is just going in a different, albeit similar, direction with the texture pack. If you don't like it, edit the terrain.png.
Redstone wires aren't working right with this texture pack. They are lit up even when unpowered. The only way to tell the difference is that powered redstone wires emit sparks.
With a previous update, I just fixed it myself. It was a problem with Mojang changing how the wire textures work. This time I'm not sure how to fix it, because the textures look right to me. It can't be a problem with the game, since unpowered wires go dark in other texture packs.

Oh OK. Thanks.
I didn't know and I wasn't sure if I was even on the right thread or not. I guess I will have to edit the textures as I don't like the new weird-looking zombies and creepers... Or the dirt, grass, or stone, right off the top of my head.

New version. Tweaking grass further, cobblestone reversion, other stuff.
Other than that, I <3 the constant flush of new updates!
Maybe when you have free time, have a collection of alternate block types?
Cheers!
Edit: And, yup, a few people have asked for extensions. :smile.gif:

I also absolutely hate the new dirt (no offense) because it looks like Doku's (which I hate as well).
Sleekcraft! Check it out!
