Just tried it with the darker wood alt, much easier to distinguish - this will probably please those who wanted the darker wood - I liked the lighter wood, but I feel it just needed to be slightly more distinguishable from sand.
Great job so far man - I look forward to your updates!
PS - I left a note about the cotton - I feel it needs to be more "fluffy", it's eerily similar to the sand block.
I edited your pack myself just a little bit. I made the sand a really bright tan. I could show some screen shots if you want me to, personally I like it and it's easy to tell. I also darkened the wood myself, but your darkened wood is much better than mine.
I've been trying to learn Objective-C. I sort of assume that any good project I'll be a part of will have to be my own doing. It's slow going for me. I'm not much in the way of programming.
Objective C is such a pain... Specially when you don't have a Mac and you're running MacOS in VM Ware on an AMD machine. =\
...
Here's my color wood. It's light with some brown in it. I also edited the inside of the log to match because otherwise it wouldn't make sense.

I like the hues and level of saturation you used for the wood. Mind shooting me over the file? I might kick the tires and see if it is better than the dark wood I made with your permission. The sand, though, I'm not feeling. Overall, I think the value is a bit dark. Hue might be okay, though.
I'm willing to take suggestions and experiment. I know I'm not omniscient. :biggrin.gif:
It hasn't been bundled in a zip file as it's unfinished. Some people have taken it upon themselves to place the files individually which works. (Thanks, guys!)
Cotton made into a woven textile, turned white, to differentiate from sand:
Screwing around with ore a bit (I got a better feel for it after making the armor item icons):

I'm going to screw around with the sand a little more. I agree it's too dark, but I still want a tan or light brown for it.
Also, I like the new cloth. Oh yeah, I also recolored the gravel, windows (to silver), locks on the chest (silver also) and the... things on the crafting table too. =P

New cotton texture in progress:
Oh no, I'm turning into the people I hate...
"Make the logo BIGGER!"

(plus it matches the inside of the logs :])
Ah true enough - just noticed that. Blarg, I'm so torn.

Edit: Also, my only dislike about this pack is the gravel. Then again, gravel is ugly no matter what. =I

I'm digging it.
Thanks, sandwiches!
Jk jk. :tongue.gif:

Silver appeals to me much more than gold. Lol.
lolol.
No 32, but after I finish the MOBs, I am going to make a semi-realistic pack. Made a test texture in about five minutes...
Also, I think I found the perfect sand. =) Pic in a few.

v Old Sand Below v
Personally, I'm keeping it unless you amazing me again. =P
It's for a different, semi-realistic pack.
