Indeed. do you talk to your friend enough to know when he will have a chance to update it. I can make a vid of the texture pack on its own but the DoF just adds so much to the game!
I've got to say Frenden, I don't really like the "pirate" path your pack is taking. That said, I hope you do fork into different pack types for us oldies!
Also, could you perhaps release a .png of all the textures for the people without Photoshop? I'd really like to edit it here on the laptop so I don't have to transfer it between computers.
The DoF is my favorite part of the shader. The bloom is swell, but not having DoF just plain sucks!
The DoF works in the current version on GitHub (https://github.com/fith/Minecraft-Shaders).
Maybe I'll add a max distance so the far-far-away is always blurry, but I much prefer dynamic DoF to static.
The water still just looks weird with some custom textures; it does linear color burn and there isn't enough contrast in your water for that to look good.
But it looks good with default water.
Failure, it's been addressed that I may create a simple/classic version of the pack for the "oldies." That said, all the changed items are in the current terrain.png in the pack's zip. There's even a PSD with additional options.
I sorta thought you got your numbers mixed up when I saw the screenshots and thought this was a 32x pack!
I really like the overall design and feel your pack provides, especially the different patterns on different colors of wool.
The only gripe I have is that your custom player skin in the pack has his eyes covered when you equip any armour and the eye holes are more like mouth holes.
But good job, I like this and look forward to any changes you have in store for this pack.
I will make a video for you sometime this week, once I get shader and texture's juuust right :]
Fith,
The shader's installer was throwing me an error this morning after updating to 1.5; I thought it was something expected, but if it's working for you at the moment, should I create a new issue on GitHub?
Thanks, Mike! I try to get the most out of 16x. You can do a lot with the little tiles. I might revisit the armor. I want to revamp my enemy MOBs first, for sure.
God, might want to hold off on the shader. Like most mods, I don't think it's up to snuff for 1.5 yet.
OMG THE 1.5 IS ALREADY OUT, WHAT WAS I WAITING FOR???????
This the best pack ever, i can't stress this enough.
I'm gonna try it with this shader now, see how it works :]

I can't get the Shaders to work :C
I tried a bunch of things, efrom deleting the version file and the minecraft jar to redownloading everything again, cuz I was using others shaders, but these I can't get to work...is it because of the 1.5?

My friend, fith, is the shader dude. I think we're waiting for a 1.5 update on them.
mega, open the terrain.png from the pack's zip file and move the extra tiles around to where you'd like them to go with Paint.net, GIMP, Photoshop, Pixelmator, or any number of programs.
Agreed! Changes the feel completely.

Keep up the good job. :biggrin.gif:
Sleekcraft! Check it out!

Fith, I like the dynamic DoF too. Any DoF is rad.

Zero, thanks, man! :biggrin.gif:

I gift you this amazing render of a reddit minecraft server as your reward.
Looking at the render now...
Okay if I use a resized version in my first post?
Thanks, Adam.
