It seems I get random crashes too, can anyone point me in the direction for an x64 version of Java? I didn't find any specific files for that in the Java site.
What do you think of the treasure map on the top of the crafting table? I'm not sold on it yet. Looks good on the tilesheet, but I'm not sure it reads in game.

Well being that alot of the time I use a bunch of crafting tables as a floor it seems a bit out of place, as you can probably see a bit in the pic, but thats specific to me. I slapped one down normally just now to see how it looked and the only thing that is a bother is the sides, too much skull I guess lol
Well I like them too, but it looks like two ideas pushed together. the skull sides look like a crate with a skull piece on it and the other side look like a regular old desk...... you know me....

If you are looking for opinion's on the new crafting table top (the treasure map), I think it's very very cute for a "theme set." and reads well enough in game. I think it's a keeper for the Pirate Theme.
I use most of the simple alt texture's of yours however :] and I like to use tiles in unconventional ways like Atari. So my personal texture.png doesnt include it in an active tile.
So I was playing on my server with your friends mod installed and I switched it over to the default texture pack to take a look. and you have no Idea how much that improves the default. that lighting needs to be something in vanilla minecraft! I was trying a handful of different textures and yours works the best with it tho, but I suppose that should go without question

The newest beta seems to cover pretty much everything, haven't played with power-rails yet though...
EDIT: Power and Detector rails don't show up correctly (as expected)...but everything else is playable.
Serendipitous! I have some free time today. If there is anything new, I will try and address it today.
"Detector rail, Power Rail, Birch and Pine/Spruce Saplings" and "On fancy graphics, the sides of grass blocks are now biome-specific and match the shade on the top." seem like your only challenges today Master Frenden :smile.gif: And the second one I think works fine with the newest beta...
Well hello Frenden! I figured out it was the AA that was giving me weird things with that shader pack. Only use it for screenshots but when I do, boy are they glorious!
I'll give a shout out whenever I get around to starting up my Let's Play again. School has been destroying my soul but I just finished my last art project of ever (outside of work). Huzzah!
Side note - I like these little Beta updates you're doing. It's reminiscent of Secret Friday Updates in that...they're updates...and...I like them.

My side grass was ready for the updated thanks to a heads-up, the rails are done now, my saplings are recolored for birch and pine, and I have everything done except for the "power" image in the armor folder. I think it might be a surge of power over a mob when they're hit by lightning. I might release the pack sans-"power" to get it out there and update later.
bp, I dig your let's plays, so I hope school calms down for ya. Works been pretty busy for me, so I'm glad I can do these beta updates to help keep me sane. :smile.gif:
i haven't looked yet, but i'm sure the achievement screen can be skinned as well..
By nature, the Achievement Screen is already skinned. It just borrows textures.
yeah i just checked the minecraft.jar for new stuff. aside from the power image in armor, there is now an achievements folder with an editable .png for the window. by default it's a flat grey.
