Frenden, can you please make an alternate version of the download with the ovens, shelves, and vending machines? I really loved them, and I only have paint to paste the old household items over. :sad.gif:
Once all the updates are finished, I will make a version for you. In the meantime, the main download in the first post is entirely useable and has the household items.
Hey Frenden. it's been awhile since I last posted. Still using your pack after all this time and just came to say I like where you're going with the pack. It feels more detailed while still being really light and playful.
This has probably been stated so many times before it's not even funny... But I have to ask, and I don't have the patience to look through pages for the answer. What mods did you use to make the screen shots on the front page so overwhelmingly sexy?
The shader looks a lot like this final.fsh combined with a DoF shader.
This was the base, yes. He added a bunch to it. Waving trees, water, flowers, crops, DoF, and other stuff. It's still in development and I'm not sure if he can redistribute it. I will ask.
I absolutely love this texture pack and it's gotten to the point where I can't even play Minecraft unless I'm using it (so much that I think the original textures are "ugly" in comparison) but, I've got to say, I'm not too fond of these newer, more detailed updates - no offense. In my opinion, it looks like someone spliced together the default textures with your simple textures and it looks a bit off, I think.
I do, however, love the whole pirate theme you've got goin' on, that's really awesome.
Having said that, I'm a bit curious: Do you think it's possible that you could provide two download links in the near-future? One that has this more detailed/pirate look and one retaining the minimalist approach? I usually edit the terrain.png myself, but it would be so much easier to have it done for me.
Oh, and that new skeleton looks pretty awesome - I love the determination in his eyes.

Both Paint.net and Gimp are free. And since the household items don't require transparency they should work fine. :smile.gif:

Yeah people are going nuts over this on the GSL (or whatever it's called) forum thread. It looks great for screens but I'd have to see a video playing with it, feel like it might be odd :tongue.gif:

That terrain PNG is oversized and for example only. Trying to use it should, and probably did from the sounds of it, crash Minecraft. I linked to a download of the latest zipped BETA of the pack only a few posts ago. That's what you should use. There are changes to the particles, MOBs, items, terrain - all sorts of things. To link to each file individually would take forever. Use the zip! :biggrin.gif:
I see that the zip needs the updated items. That's weird.
