why do people insist on getting people to change the direction of their texture packs, mods, or other work?
if ray wanted a progress bar, he would have included one. anyone and everyone has the ability to edit texture pack files. if you don't like something, maybe try changing it yourself? he is obviously busy with real-life work, is always keeping up with new textures for every update notch releases, and is under no obligation to make people personal versions of his pack. the texture pack itself revolves around a specific aesthetic unique to his artistic abilities.
all of the changes/'improvements' anyone has talked about in this thread can be done by oneself within five minutes using whatever drawing program they prefer. this happens in nearly any thread of people creating mods and texture packs. they are doing it all on their own time, with no compensation aside from the odd donation or a .gif of notch's head in a forum post.
tl;dr : giving someone constructive feedback, a heads up on an error, or missing texture is one thing, but their pack is their own. they'd be homeless if they took the time to jump on every revision requested.

i'll leave it at this so as not to flood his thread with retarded bickering. frenden will do as he likes, and everyone will just have to dealwithit.gif
For anyone who uses the better glass mod, i've made frenden's glass work with it :smile.gif:
( these are just the raw textures, just drag and drop if you already have the mod installed ) Download
I sorta don't get it when people start point out things they don't like when they are using a texture pack that is a style and ideas of the creator. Just my thought.
I generally don't mind, but that was totally tactless, haha. :tongue.gif:
To change the wolf would require a few minutes of work. I can do it for you, Aweshum.
I dunno it just kinda boggies me sometimes (I'm sorta of simple minded when it comes to deep thinking cause I can't! ahahahaha) Im just kind of confused someone commented my texture mobs didn't change and isn't cute enough (though it's my point of view making things cute without huge eyes). Then I get someone else who totally liked my slimes.
It takes all kinds. I love the glowing yellow eyes and you love your mobs. Just make the best **** ya can. If it speaks to your taste, it's authentic, and that's about as good as making art gets.
Frenden, if I might make a small suggestion... I honestly love the skull icon for the bones. It's much more bad-ass than the stereotypical femur bone. But... it doesn't make as much sense as a femur for giving to wolves to tame them. That's a very minor deal, of course (there's lots of stuff in Minecraft that doesn't make sense), but it's something to consider at any rate. :smile.gif:

Do not troll, flame, or spam in simple texture pack threads. If you don't like them, don't post. You will be warned otherwise.
So I was wondering what are you plans for the release of the customizer Frenden? How many "alternate" textures will you be releasing for each item that you deem worthy of one? I'm assuming that the customizer will be only for the 16x textures and the 32x will be come as is correct?
Also, as a suggestion I think that the wolf that was released recently stands out too much against the other animals. They aren't a single color with another shade here and there as pigs and sheep are. Seems as it would look a lot better with the 32x upcoming textures instead. What do you think?
I think that style evolves over time. I like the new style wolf better than the old style animals. I may change the new ones to suit it rather than the other way around.
Unzip the downloaded texture pack to see a PSD file with almost all the currently made alternate textures included. You can mix and match your own already.

No, it makes it so multiple connected blocks of glass appear as one glass pane rather than individual glass blocks.
EMBRACE IT! :biggrin.gif:

I still am awaiting the day the customizer surfaces!
Sleekcraft! Check it out!
