i also love this pack except for the and textures
hope you update them in the next version.

This is the best texture pack I've used so far(my comp doesn't like anything >16p) yet it's so simple.

I have to agree with all the people about smoothstone and cobblestone
I used this texture pack for ages, and the stone textures just turned me off so much that I had to stop using it :sad.gif:

Download doesnt work....

Your tex. pack looks wonderful, but whenever I place the .zip file into the texturepacks folder, when I try to go into the "Mods and Texture Packs" section, Minecraft goes black and freezes. Please help. Your pack looks really great, and I wanna use it. :/

Dear frenden i really love your texture pack and have used it forever but....i hate the glass in the game and I wanna kill myself because my house is glass and so I changed the glass in paint which worked but in the game the border is the right color (i only painted the border of it) but the glass is no longer see through.....so can you please tell me how to fix this? thanks a bunch!

Don't use MSPaint. It can't support transparency. There are plenty of good free programs that can, such as Paint.net or Gimp.

I don't get why there is so much whining about individual textures. If you don't like his, put your own in overtop of his. I for one love the cobblestone/stone as it fits the rest of the pack really, really well.

If you hate something so much just replace it or use a different pack.

I encourage anyone who dislikes a particular texture to change it. The pack is licensed under a creative commons attribution non-commercial license, so go to town with it.

At first the cobblestone didn't seem quite right to me, but within an hour or two of play it seems perfect -- there's a beauty to the way the various Frenden textures work with each other that's really wonderful (especially if you add AO!)

Well, the textures got me spriting again. Still heavily WIP, but I'm going to prototype a sidescroller for the kicks of it.

Thanks Frenden. This is the first texture pack that has really caught my eye and it feels like a whole new game. Oddly enough, I feel like this pack is much more in the spirit of the game than some of the other texture packs, even though it is very much a stylistic departure.

Ya the only thing I don't like is the creeper face. Well it's not that I don't like it, it's funny and silly looking, it's just that I want creepers to be scary looking, I will probably change it to something else.

Yeah, a Frenden-style 'sad creeper' version would be nice.

I'll probably later expand it so it looks more to Frenden's style and so stairs don't look weird,etc but it seems to have worked. I like the style of cobblestone to be more like stacked stones so it has a more medieval castle look to it. Or well that's what I was going for. Feel free to comment criticize it.
