The darkness of hell kinda makes it look not much different. This isn't a problem you can solve. When you start placing torches, the differences become readily apparent.
Pack looks good, and the water... well I sorta agree there's something off about it. Doesn't fit in with the rest of the pack at the moment.
The inset shading on the inventory slots was a nice touch.
That HD texture fix actually works with the lava/water textures you've already gotten in there, and it looks phenomenal. I took a couple of screens to show it off. :smile.gif: Click for full sizes.
If anything this water looks better than your latest - I'm sure you'll come up with something!
PS - Love the teal, very "resorty"! Fits your theme perfectly.
I have a request. Could you switch the red and blue colors of redstone and diamond?
Why in the world would you want this?
I just happen to like red more than blue, and have no talent at all in the making of images.
Ok so, you want your diamonds to be red, and your redstone to be blue? I mean, I can do this for you if you really want, as long as you know where the items and terrain files go within your minecraft.jar file. I have to edit items to make diamonds look red and the dust look blue as well, you want that?
Bluestone! I can help with that too. I just want to make sure that we have it right - you want the diamond and ore to be switched?
Thanks for the water images. The new pattern isn't very subtle. Too much contrast in colors. Good to see and I have a plan of attack. Thanks so much guys!
I'd like to thank Jorge and Lucy for donating tonight! :biggrin.gif:
In direct response to the water criticism, I've updated it to be more in line with the simple, descriptive nature of the other blocks. Now the texture is much more subtle!
If there's absolutely no pattern on the water itself, it will just look like a flat blue sheet. Even the original minecraft texture had some, well, texture to it, haha.

Yes, guys. I like the color red quite a bit, so I think it would be cool to have traditional blue electricity, and red ruby armor, weapons, etc... I tried to do a little bit earlier, but since you guys have a lot better understanding of color scheme and stuff, I figured I'd show you. http://img843.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=terrainm.png
Please tell me how you guys think I did.

Looks great, will donate next paycheck. :biggrin.gif:
All you had to do was ask! :wink.gif:
I love your texture pack and it's the only one I use, so I feel it's only fair to at least buy you lunch. =)

Looks great though!
I worded that poorly. :smile.gif:
It's just a version with no transparency for my ease of editing later.

Yup, pretty much. I think my try at it represents what I'd like it to look like.
