I copied all the files into my Minecraft directory, but the game seems to freeze & crash at the Mojang screen. Here's the error message I get:

The previous version of your pack, and any other packs I try, work fine. Any ideas what the problem might be? I'm stumped. I deleted my minecraft.jar & let it download again, still the same error.
This happened once before. A minority of people have a problem loading PNGs that were created in Photoshop. I'll save them out from another app for the final zip (tomorrow).
They should be completely different than what I quoted. They're changed in the terrain.png. I don't know why they show up as the original textures for you.

No, these are yours, i took this out of your zip. These are different from the original.
Also keep in mind the nether adds a red hue to everything, ontop of the fact i was in a little to no light area when i took the screen shot.
I don't think I can change the water or lava. I made my own lava and changed the water in the terrain file and it never shows in-game. Is there some way to do so that I am totally oblivious to? I'm the first to admit ignorance in this area.

Yeah it's bugged! You need to load your texture pack through this:

That HD texture fix actually works with the lava/water textures you've already gotten in there, and it looks phenomenal. I took a couple of screens to show it off. :smile.gif: Click for full sizes.

Do not troll, flame, or spam in simple texture pack threads. If you don't like them, don't post. You will be warned otherwise.
I absolutely love your graphics pack. When I get up tomorrow I will post rad pics to prove it. Excellent job, please continue to provide updates and keep this thing rockin'.
I love this texture pack and for me it's always a tough decision on whether to use this or Glimmar's steampunk textures!
I think the simplistic look work a lot better for minecraft than a lot of the more realistic textures, it always felt a bit weird to be wandering around in a world made of cubes trying their hardest to pretend they weren't. Now I've used the HD fix the water looks far more amazing too, and gives my little waterside cliff dwelling an amazing sunset vista. :biggrin.gif:
The only thing I don't really like is the torches, I think, ironically, they're just a bit too simple for me, but that's okay because I'm thinking of changing them to look like a glowing crystal anyway for my personal use! :smile.gif:
I've gotten one donation so far and would appreciate any support you guys can offer. I'd like to pay someone to make a site to allow for texture options ala the Painterly Pack and your money would be going towards that effort!
I've got ideas for a high-res pack too, but won't have the time to pursue a second pack unless the packs generate some income. I will continue to support this pack regardless.

Love the updates! This pack is great! Only gripe is I don't like the new water, the lines, imo, should be more subtle? The new glow block from Nether and the Gold Ore blocks look eerily similar.
Noted! The water is new for me. I never textured it in the past. The HD texture fix isn't working on the Mac, so if you post screens, I can address how it looks. :smile.gif:

I'm humbled by the number of people that post comments, pictures, videos, and critiques. I appreciate that a heap!
I just updated the zip file with a slightly revised and simplified water texture (same color, new wave graphic) and a revised Ghast skin.
I've got ideas for a high-res pack too, but won't have the time to pursue a second pack unless the packs generate some income. I will continue to support this pack regardless.
