I read somewhere that notch isnt going to make a proper release until mincon, until then they will only be PRs

This is evidently awesome. I love it, my brothers love it too, we use it cause it's awesome.

it sucks that no one can 'use or build upon' this pack yet its been months on 1.8 and (for some of us 1.9) and theres no sign of an update here. If someone were ALLOWED to update this (even temporarily) thered be many of us (who feel abandoned by frenden!!) whod very much appreciate it.

Im sure hes ultra busy and all... but we're left out in the cold here WHY U NO CARE!!!!!!

Yeah that's pretty much what they are going to do. Jeb did say they may (may) do a release candidate but nothing has been confirmed.

Sure people want to take over and update it but I don't really give a damn either. It's HIS project that he's nice enough to share with us. Real life has taken a stranglehold (damned mortgages) of him and he hasn't had time to work on it. Deal with it.

Side note - Frenden, any progress on getting some of your illustrations up for sale somewhere? :smile.gif:

Sounds like you've been hearing biased stories from a person who took Frenden textures and claimed them as his own.

Frenden Please PLEASE make the texture pack! i dont care when you get it done for minecrafts current version I just want you to finish it its was the first texture pack i ever used and; i have been using it since but when 1.8 came out i had to use a different texture pack, minecraft isnt the same without your texture pack PRETTTTTY PRETTTTY PLEASE finish it!
