Endermen are not being changed a heap. They work best as mysterious shadow-entities. Villagers - not sure yet.
I've seen a lot of different approaches to the endermen and making them generally looking like the original has been looking the best to me so I can't wait to see what you do with them! :smile.gif:

Tensions are high on the textures, go Frenden! This is the best texture pack I have ever seen, you should make an adf.ly link, I would use it!

That's exactly what I thought, and I think it would be nice and quirky, would be great for this pack. The nose as a beak.
I was thinking some kind of small, two-legged elephant, but bird works as well.
Why not make the villagers pirates?
