It's just one of many layers which includes in file. It appear for you 'cos other layers are hidden, so, you need Photoshop (or GIMP if it can work with psd) to see all of it.
Oh, okay, thanks.
a bit complicated though, why not just put the textures in a seperate .png?
edit: okay, opened it with gimp 2, and i really cant figure it out. i mean, i got the layers and stuff, but i cant figure out how to switch between the layers or something. if someone has the knowledge and could put them all into a .png-file, it would be greatly appreciated.

Using multi-layer format provides you ability to have all separated images in one file — you can switch between them quickly, working in one window, etc. Time saver, in my opinion.
There is must be something like «Show this layer», «Hide other layers», «Visibility», Eye icon near layer name or something similar.

Oh. found it.
well, it might be a time saver, but it sure doesnt make for easy editing :S Now i just have to figure out how to copy a texture from the layers and put it in the terrain.png. D:
After playing around with GIMP for a bit now, i can understand that. I just remembered why i stopped using it forever: the way it handles the windows and everything.
Well, I guess i have to get a bit used to it.
The New update is lovely as ever, I'm so happy that you changed the chests back to the cupboard textures, My kitchen now looks nice and kitcheny again.
Don't get me wrong, the chests were fantastic and I could have changed them back to the cupboards, but they made my kitchen look weird. :laugh.gif:
just wanted to show some pics, the tall grass looks awesome with your pack.
the nature looks almost exactly like the nature in the country i come from, switzerland (well as close as minecraft can get)
So... Does getting back chests and furnaces that look like chests and furnaces require manual editing or what? I can see the textures I like in terrain.png but I don't want to mess it up with my failz if can avoid it.
Bumping this post... Really, I'm good with a simple 'no' I just don't want to screw something up if there was another way.
A simple copy/paste just requires highlighting, but thank you. Even for something like that I know I would be off by a pixel somewhere and everything would look hideous.

I think this depends on personal taste and style for work. Good luck with GIMP, by the way!

It's a simple copy and paste. Here.
Thanks, Ferrous!
