Whirlpoolwas - You build the fences on top of other blocks, which you then remove.
Frenden, just want to add my voice to the praise 'round here. I love that you're not trying to get around the fact that the game is deliberately low-fi. Looking forward to your mob work!
Totally inspired by a few other dude's more elaborate torches. Eld, Glimmar, I'm looking at you.

...you should play Wind Waker.
I saw a copy at a thrift store for $3, but I'm not sure if Gamecube discs work in the Wii. I would need to investigate further, heh.
I am pretty sure that they work.

So cool...
But also, you gotta have the Game Cube memory card and a gamecube controller to play it.
well i finally got them installed ( thanks to everyone who ignored my cry for help ) but for some reason the items pic doesnt work im not sure if it downloaded wrong or if this is a known prob other then that the building blocks have changed but things like armor, carts, weaps etc... did not should i redownload the file and install it again?

If you haven't already, put the 3 files gui.png, icons.png and items.png into an extra folder named "gui" inside your Minecraft folder - should work. =)
well the prob is i never found the folder i ended up downloading a progam to install them for me and when i highlight the items.png folder and have it installed it says it installed but it still doesnt show up
I have absolutely fallen in love with this pack. The one thing I am sad to give up though is the Painterly gunpowder = a creeper head bomb texture. It was very clever and I think it would fit right in with what you have going on here, but as much as I would love to see your take on it I don't know whether that would be frowned upon or not.

thanks for the link it helped alot and i finally figured it out though for some reason items such as armor, weaps, signs and what not still are not changing over should i take the item.png file and place it in the item folder? or is there something else

I LOVE this pack. It's so simple and effective, I'm surprised no one did it before!
I just don't like the Wood texture. It feels more like 'steel bricks' than wood.
Could you PLEASE make wood 'wood'?
Or at least, for me~ <3 :biggrin.gif:

I agree. Everything is perfect except the wood. Not brown enough :tongue.gif:

Also have you tried messing around with cobblestones with more color? Such as light tones of peach, orange, blue, red, etc.
Awesome work, man. I absolutely adore it. :smile.gif:

Signs, boats, armor, and MOBs are not done yet.
I really like the way you used all the wood in your house.
