My patch is added just fine into the game, but it lags like all hell. I can't get absolutely anything done. Is there something I did wrong when patching my 128x128 texture pack?
128x128 packs are extremely system intensive mate, your pc may not be up to it.
My desktop is new. Its a quad core processor. It has 8 GB RAM. It has an intel HD accelerator graphics card. All of these are far more powerful then my laptop's specs, and my laptop runs 128x128 almost as good as default.
You have an integrated graphics card...sorry but thats ****.
no one has answered me yet. can some one answer me soon?
Haha I laugh at you, read the big red writing in the first post. Now Xau is going to start ignoring all your posts. (As he does to me) no matter how much you apologize.
Yes, I also made the mistake of ignoring the big red writing on the first post before...
i didn't do what red stuff says i just asked for help. jeez. and besides u don't control him he can do what he wants.

unfortunately for you, what xau said he wants is to "add you to my ignore list and will never read your post or any future posts you make" if you "REPEAT YOUR OWN POST ON THE SAME PAGE". You might want to check the last page. You're on it asking for help for the same problem in more than one post. Maybe he'll change his mind just for you, who knows!
Hey does anyone know how i get this working with "GERUDOKU" texture pack?
Ive been playing around with everything and after a fresh install ive FINALLY got "DrZhark's Mo Creatures Mod" working with "GERUDOKU" only now i get an error using the patcher so i cant get the animated water and larva ect...
Anybody know what i may have done wrong or how to get that working? thanks. :smile.gif:
Hello, I'm trying to use this MCPatcher to get custom water from my personalized Painterly pack.
I downloaded the latest Windows version from the OP. I saved it to a folder. I double-clicked the .exe to run MCPatcher.
I immediately get this:
found C:\Users\Justin\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\bin\minecraft.jar
Found AnimTexture: ah.class
Found Compass: ai.class
Found StillLava: bj.class
Found Portal: fn.class
Found FlowLava: fv.class
Found AnimManager: gs.class
Found Watch: hp.class
Found Tessellator: jy.class
Found FlowWater: kf.class
Found Tool3D: mf.class
Found Fire: nb.class
Found Block: pj.class
Found StillWater: py.class
Found Minecraft: net/minecraft/client/Minecraft.class
Multiple classes match for AnimManager: gs.class, de/matthiasmann/twl/renderer/lwjgl/LWJGLDynamicImage.class
Multiple classes match for AnimManager: gs.class, de/matthiasmann/twl/renderer/lwjgl/LWJGLTexture.class
I did not do anything with the download or program other than double click to run after downloading it. Upon getting the error report immediately copied the above report and then closed the window.
It's also saying:
There was an error opening minecraft.jar This may be because:
- the file has already been patched
- there was an update that this patcher can not handle
- there is another, conflicting mod applied
- the jar file is invalid or corrupt
You can re-download the original minecraft.jar by deleting your minecraft/bin folder and running the game normally.
Please see log window for more details
Help?
(I just really want water that doesn't look terrible)
So, i am playing on a mac, i have used the patcher to get the Gerudoku remix texture pack working and it was all dandy. But now i wish to revert to the normal texture pack.
So far this has happened:
I can re-patch minecraft with no texture pack, to 16x16, but can only launch minecraft from the 'Test Minecraft' button on the patcher. If i open minecraft via the actual application i get black screened.
If i re-patch Minecraft with no texture pack to 32x32 i can now launch Minecraft from the application, BUT some texture pack i used to have is active, even though i have none in the Texture Pack folder and just patched Minecraft with no textures...
I tried deleting the Bin folder, aswell as deleting the whole of Minecraft and its fodlers, however everytime i redownload it from the website, the same texture pack is active.
Ive searched and searched but cant find a working solution.
Did you try redownloading MC and opening it with the actual application and not the patcher? Delete the VERSION file and open MC.
Well the texture pack folder is empty, but i deleted it anyway. This is resulted in minecraft getting stuck on log in. So i deleted the whole minecraft folder in application support and opened minecraft, it updated, and there is still the texture pack active in a new world.
Is the Hd fixer needed? or can you install the mod manually? (Dragging the files in directly) if so could I please have the files instead of the patcher?

The HD fixer patches the files. Its done this way b/c it is illegal to distribute files that do not belong to a modder such as the files he's patching. He made the line of code but it still goes in a file that notch created therefore using the patcher is the only legal way of doing it.

Oh, Well I wanted it because I was going to make a cocktail of all the mods I use in one folder. That way if there's ever new stuff or I screw up my bin folder I can easily re-download all my mods in one swoop.
This is my error.

The default texture pack right?
No thats my problem. I have NOTHING in the Texture pack Folder. I am using a brand new minecraft (not patched) and yet when i start a new world, or load an old one, there is a texture pack active, not the default one. its one i tried out before and decided i didnt like it.
Well that simpossible if you deleted everything and it redownloaded from the Minecraft server then thats impossible unless your using an illegal torrent copy that has a texture pack pre installed.

I was trying HD textures and I think I prefer the 16x16 original.

Save as Terrain.png and drop it in your MC jar or put it in a zip file and put it in the texture folder and just select it.
I'm using the 32x32 minecraft HD texture pack which works perfectly fine until I try to install other mods.
Is there no way for them to be compatible, or what do I have to do to make them compatible?
Did you try installing the texture pack AFTER installing the mod instead of before?
