However, everytime I try to patch using the rezcraft textures, The program freezes, so it's hard to copy everything into here, so I can post screen shots.
Do you have console output or can you stop it in a debugger when it's frozen to see what's going on?
But I had some breakpoints.. and... the program jumps back and forth A LOT, so I disabled the breakpoints, and then all of the sudden the patch worked... so i'm confused. =\
the error message is "fatal error occurred (4): failed to download lwjgl.jar retreiving: lwjgl.jar 95%
This looks like Minecraft screwed up during an update. You can try hitting the Minecraft Folder button on the patcher, deleting the file called "version", and then running Minecraft the normal way (no patch) until it works. Don't try to patch until it works normally.

I need to reset minecraft after using this patcher. How too plz?
Well, there was water in that room next to the torches so, :-x could be it.. Any ideas as to why I'd be getting such MAJOR fps drop due to the animations? I am using a 32x32 set [i know cus i made the texture pack]
I have no explanation and no ideas. If you link the pack I can try to reproduce later.
http://spinneyweb.world-of-frags.com/Ka ... thEDIT.zip
It's pretty much all of John Smiths texture pack with some edits that i've done. nothing large or drastic.. now i'm using the terrain.png and gui without any of the patch and it's fine.. i make traps though so i'd love to eventually see water movements. BEFORE Beta i was running beautifully while using your patch. Hope this helps.
For someone who's not getting paid to do this, i appreciate the time and patience.. i think i speak for most of these guys here who need help.
Hey, first time posting on the forums... I apologize if this is a simple fix or if it's already been done, but I'm trying to patch the REZCRAFT BETA v0.3, and as soon as I tried to open up Minecraft, I got the ole Black Screen of Doom.
Any help, fellas?
Sounds like the "unchecking the custom water and lava" trick to me
Apologies good sir for the late response.
It worked wonderfully. It lags horribly, even on single player. That was before I applied the FPS fix from the other thread, so I'll try it again once I have access to my file.
Hi, first time posting for real on here, and sorry if this problem has been explained befor, I couldn't find it anywhere. I downloaded this patch because Minecraft wouldn't load the BroPaint texture pack I downloaded, and I was getting a black screen. Now when I try to load my minecraft.jar file, it says
"There was an error opening minecraft.jar. This may be because:
- The file has already been patched. (It hasn't)
- There was an update that this patcher couldn't handle (I'm using Beta 1.1.2)
- There is another, conflicting mod applied. (explained later)
- The jar file is invalid or corrupt.
You can re-download the original minecraft.jar by deleting your minecraft/bin folder and running the game normally.
Please see log window for more details."

Maybe it drops a flash drive, which you must use in conjunction with a huge redstone computer, and in said flash drive, is a copy of minecraft. A minecraft, within a minecraft. MineCeption.
The patcher lists my TP as if it were the default textures. I want the original textures back. How can i do this?

From what I understand, the patch doesn't seem to be working at all, the bricks, for example, still contain the fire/water/etc moving images. You're patching the minecraft.jar in your Minecraft Mods folder, rather than the one in .minecraft/bin. Try putting the patcher in a different folder with no minecraft.jar, so it finds the installed minecraft.jar instead. Or you can manually install the patched minecraft.jar or change the output location.
Also, A+ for reading the OP and actually following the instructions for help. I'm pretty sure you're the first to get it perfect.

I selected the texture pack to patch it for and it didnt work because i wasnt using an un modded mc.jar, that was fine i used an original backup and tried again but i cannot find the mc.jar in the patcher menu anymore, it is stuck where my texture pack is, can you help?
Put the unmodded minecraft.jar in .minecraft/bin and restart the patcher. It should find it automatically.

Ok, I promise I have spent at least half an hour using the search function to try and find my problem ... stupid board keeps ignoring short keywords on search through and I don't know how to force it to look for things like "GL" and "POST".
Anyways:
My problem is the game keeps crashing, whether I run it with the "Test Minecraft" button or the Minecraft.exe. Specifically I get this error:
########## GL ERROR ##########
@ Post render
1285: Out of memory
What happens is I can open the game, run around for a bit, and then eventually I run out of memory. I read in the thread that the minecraft.exe should handle the memory automatically, so I'm not sure what is happening here.
I tried it with 64x64 and I think I got the same problem, although I don't have a log for that and I deleted that build and redid everything.

Please read the OP and try your post again.
256x256 isn't working right now, sorry.
Delete your .minecraft/bin folder.
Put the unmodded minecraft.jar in .minecraft/bin and restart the patcher. It should find it automatically.
You're using the old free weekend version of Minecraft. Either log in and update (buy the game if you haven't), or try to hunt down the oldest version of the patcher.
Perhaps you could try reading the bit of text under where I mention the error, that explains what you should do.
The "Test Minecraft" button is for testing minecraft (in single player). To play multiplayer you should use the normal launcher and log in.
1) Using Sanguine and/or Default Textures adjusted to 128x128 - Error happens on both
Here is the full log code including the patching process, error is at the bottom:
Any advice or help much appreciated and a huge thanks for making the awesome HD patcher thingy program in the first place.
