i used this, and it works, but for some reason i can't find my save-game from when i played on my browser. when i start it, it's all empty.
please help.
-edit- erm nevermind.. when i started a new game i got all my old stuff back. different spawnpoint though... weird...
Hate to say this...but if you deleted the .minecraft folder (which is not necessary. only the bin folder needs to be deleted 97% of the time) you probably deleted your saves too.
Always back up your saves. And if you only use the texture pack folder to save the packs, back it up too.
*edit...saw yer edit :tongue.gif:

im sure this has already been posted, but whenever i use an HD pack, like Misa's HD ot RezCraft, i cant use the scrollwheel, or rightclick how do i fix this?
I don't want to go back all the way through 48 pages of posts just to find my answer,
which I'm sure has already been answered, and i'm sorry lazy.
But you can't go on SMP servers and view your HD texture pack?
If you can how?
I'm trying to use sanguine textures with beta, and this is what pops up

Has anyone worked out a solution (or a quick fix) to these problems for OSX? This talk of blackscreens and such are the only thing stopping me from running the patcher.
im sure this has already been posted, but whenever i use an HD pack, like Misa's HD ot RezCraft, i cant use the scrollwheel, or rightclick how do i fix this?
The patcher shouldn't be touching anything that could possibly cause that, are you using other mods? If you're sure it's the patcher please follow the instructions in the first post.

Patching beta should not affect any of those files, are you using other mods? If you're sure it's the patcher please follow the instructions in the first post.

You're probably aware of this already and no doubt a fix is on its way soon, but in case you missed it, the patcher isn't able to run with custom lava and water anymore since today's new MC update.

Knowing how fast he updated when Beta came out, you should be able to expect an update by tonight
so... i'm on a mac.. and the only way i can even use texture packs in the first place is to put them in a folder with minecraft and run it that way. i don't have a .jar file. since this only works with .jar's, does that mean it's not compatible with OSx?
if it does work on mac's, and theres a special way to do it that i missed please tell me :biggrin.gif:
i sat around for 30 minutes last night trying to get it to work... blah..
Oh and if this dosen't work. if someone could just send a me a patched 64x64 client that would make me extremely happy.
Now, if Notch could just fix SMP so I could actually stay connected to any servers... :smile.gif:

A link to downloads for old versions and a list of what version does what is in the very first post in this thread. Reading it would mean a lot to me.

This does not answer my question. :|
Regardless, I've re-read the original post, and found my answer.

That's not true, you can install them into the minecraft.jar archive
Yes you do, everyone has one, you just have to find it
Obviously you know where the "texturepacks" folder is, well just open the "bin" folder right above it
