i'm trying to patch a custom painterly pack, and it seems to patch fine, but when I open my minecraft world, i always get this crash:

Are you working on the issue with portals and watches still?

when im trying to use this texture pack i patch it and everything then when i use the www.minecraft.net browser it sais done loading then freezes.. this is the log when i patch it

okay, i cleaned out my minecraft got rid of it completely. redownloaded it. starting with 1.2.1_01. i run the hd patch and import a texture package which worked in 1.2.0_02, is a 64by64 well the patcher says it was successful, probably. but in game the textures dont show up. ?.?

When is this going to work on Mac?

I ran this program to install a 16bit texture pack, and instead it put my minecraft back to the original textures, is this because I 've checked custom water?

calm down dude. minecraft just got updated. no patch is going to work. restore from your backup or delete and start over, then wait for patches to get updated

As well as custom lava/water, unfortunately.

It's working fine after the update. I even got my 64x64 .zip texture pack to load within the game. So everything is fine. I don't use custom lava/water though, so I can't tell if those are working. But the texture packs works just as well as before the update. Just waiting on the portal/watch fix.

It always worked on Mac, also the update broke it.

If you read through this thread, you'll see lots of posts from ppl having problems on Mac. This problem predates the halloween update.

Of course not. There was an update today. It doesn't work with this update.

How do I remove this than or will it eventually be fixed?

I can 100% confirm that this patch is still working, texture sets just need updated as notch changed where some of the files were at, with a little adjustment it still works :smile.gif: check out my texture set i'm uploading an updated version now

KSO. I downloaded the patch thing and i clicked texture packs and better grass, right? And then I Pushed PATCH and then i Pushed LAUNCH MINECRAFT. And nothing happened so i opened it from my desktop and it went black

Try it with an updated texture set it works
