There is a huge bug i'd like to help out by reporting that with 1.1.7 the watch appears invisible in your inventory, if the texture is default or 128x128, if there is any possible way to get a fix that'd be great :smile.gif:

Have you used a custom items.png? There are I think four new items in the default, and if you overwrite it with a custom image that doesn't contain them they will be invisible. The new default gui.png contains a new item as well.
I'm on Mac OS 10.5.8 and the patch won't load. I've deleted the minecraft.original.jar, also tried deleting the whole game and redownloading and nothing works. Is there a solution for this yet? Thanks.
heliwr I updated all the items the watch is in it's own file "dial.png" in the misc folder, even without including a new one the watch is bugged and taking the default one and scaling it to 128 bugs it as well, same with mixcrafts 32x32 pack , so it is a bug much like the compass bug.

Looks like I compiled something for Java 6 by mistake. As a workaround you can run it from the terminal with:
Looks like when xau was modifying the client for HD support, he left out the code that turns on rendering blocks behind transparent ones.
Also, for the portal, check out v.class, method:
public void b(cu paramcu, int paramInt1, int paramInt2, int paramInt3, Random paramRandom)
Thats where the portal is drawn.
Wow i dont know what any of this means... but i'm hoping it means someone can fix portals to show up properly? I'm glad to have my world back in 64x64 but the portal defect is really bothering me.

Xau, do you know why this conflicts with 303's updated ModLoader and Elemental Arrows? With that mod, my bricks and bloodstones are way messed up! Can you fix this, or do I have to get rid of that mod? I asked 303 about it too... still waiting on a reply.
{Edit} - I just confirmed that it's the Updated ModLoader, not the added arrows... if that helps any.
