After updating to Minecraft 1.4 if I use MCpatcher to patch my texture pack the game crashes whenever I try to craft any kind of half block. If it isn't patched the game doesn't crash when I craft a half block.
Man, I've been trying to install v28 of Mixcraft but this always happens:

Okay I am currently s******g flaming golden bricks and need a hand, see, everytime I patch it it does weird things, if I patch it while on the default minecraft skin it turns the default one to the new pack too. If I put it on the texture pack I am trying to patch it does the same thing, is this just what happens? Or is there something weird going on? I am using the normal Windows patcher not the Beta.
thanks,

That's what the patcher does. It replaces the default textures with whatever you patch with (and also fixes errors due to size if the textures you patch are > 16p). :smile.gif:

Do not troll, flame, or spam in simple texture pack threads. If you don't like them, don't post. You will be warned otherwise.
I've looked for over 2 hours and still can't find it and I need help.
The image that Xau posted in his before and after pics, that is the texture I want. But like I said, I can not find it. I have looked everywhere and to no avail.

So I either s**t bricks or lose the default texture pack? What happens if I want more than one HD texture pack?

Two options...you can download the beta patcher instead (check the op for link) which patches the game in a way that still allows you to pick textures using the in-game options (it can be laggy)...or make multiple copies of minecraft.jar, one with each texture patched in, and just swap them when you want to change textures (multiple backups basically).
Ok so right now i am using Misa's v190 HD texture pack. When I unpatch that it cleans my minecraft.jar folder of all my mods, is there anyway for me to prevent that?? For example I unpatch Misa's texture pack and then in someway it clears my .jar file and sets it to the minecraft default settings. i will go into more detail if needed..
I keep getting an error code when ever I try to install any texture pack. I've tried deleting the bin/resource folder with no such luck. "There was an error opening minecraft.jar"

And just to be crystal clear, "this" is the texture I'm referring to:
http://img405.imageshack.us/img405/1922/60809702.png
Please, please, please, I'm only asking for a link to said texture's thread, or wherever I can download it. I've spent enough time looking for it.
looks like gerudoku? google it
Thank you so much, I found most of it and was able to edit the rest in order to replicate and or fix anything that I saw fit.
Seriously, thank you sooo much!!!

Remove the Minecraft1.3_01 jar from your bin directory then try patching with the beta of HD texture fix found in the OP, then it will work.
