I'm assuming y'all mean the mcpatcher 2.0 beta... you run the patcher..that's it.. put your packs into the texture pack folder and change them to your hearts content in game

The old version (not 2.0 beta) still works perfectly fine with MC 1.4 for me at least... :/

Yeah the 12_02, last released version worked fine for me today as well. No issues.

I think I'm doing it wrong. It works but it also overwrites the Default so I have the pack that I just patched and "default" which is also the pack I just patched...

What should the input and output be, I'm a little unclear.

So so so many people don't have a clue how to use mcpatcher.
Maybe my video will help clear things up...

LISTEN carefully and follow them all and minecraft will run perfectly with the pack.

The MC Patcher just installs the texture-packs. You have to find and choose one first. I endorse Misa's 64. You can get that here: viewtopic.php?t=73861

I fully agree with this. One of the best packs around.

works fine for me too, though I won't be playing multiplayer until the CAF mod gets updated, otherwise it rapes my computer. It seems a tad bit laggier than usual in SSP though. I have the 1.1.12_02 version.

delete the bin folder in .minecraft. and bordercraft is a 128x128 not 32x32

Beta version is working beautifully for me. Great integration with the texture pack interface in MC Xau!
