Im getting a wierd glitch after using the patcher. I install misa 64 pack then run the patcher then start playing. When i press the f3 key my fps skyrockets up. Its goes from 15fps in caves up to 70fps and outside it goes from 10fps to 30-40fps. Is this just me or is anyone else getting this.
I don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but I see, to have problems seeing lava at times, I'm sure it's the texture fix because i unpatched it and i see lava properly. Is it a setting I used or anything? I never saw any errors when it ran and everything else seems fine, it's just the lava sometimes.
EDIT: decided to copy the code etc after reading the first post again :tongue.gif: I'm using Tronic, a 32x32 pack, with none of the custom or animated lava or water boxes checked, because the lava ended up looking pretty weird or giving default lava and water textures, which isnt what i wanted.
Edit2: Tried it with 16x16 in the patcher, no boxes checked i think, and it worked, I can see that lava now. Although I'd still prefer it in the 32x32 quality this will do i guess. Is it a fault in the texture fix or the texture pack itself? I'd guess the texture fix if the default textures do it too, but I have no clue.
Those getting weird text with hd text and modloader. Delete the font folder in your texture pack and try again. You won't get hd font but you won't get weird font either.
This Problem was happening before patch, but whenever i open minecraft after patching using the hd texture fix, the textures in game wouldnt change, i followed all instructions but still no luck, hope some1 can help, if they do for them
sounds like you aren't telling it to use a texture pack. this program only applies texture packs, it does not provide them.
i am ticking the texture box thingy and putting is misa's texture pack but yeh still no help.
If you have more than one user profile on your computer, make sure that the lines for "original" and "output" point to your minecraft bin. I had a similar issue when I was using my son's computer - the targets were for his profile under appdata/roaming instead of mine. I had to click the Broswe buttons and manually direct it to find my folder, then it worked fine.

in MC3.1_01 beta the only mod aout of the 16 that i install that I HAVE to install AFTER MCPatcher so far is AudioMod Beta 1.3_01 , as it locks up MCPatcher. If this could be looked into see why and possible fix then I'd be able to change textures (at the moment anyway) without having to reinstall any mods :wink.gif:
There is a problem with MCpatcher apparently im using a high res texture pack but when its installed i cant make a bed i brought it up with some of the people in a tinychat that use the texture pack but apparently they are morons and belive there is a problem with mcpatcher so im asking you to investigate the issue just for the "special" people that believe its your mcpatcher thats the problem.

Does the texture pack actually have a bed texture?
If you're using Windows, go to Control Panel/Folder Options. Click on the View tab and make sure "Show Hidden Files, Folders and Drives" is selected. The users folder may be hidden otherwise.

I have a problem. When I first open the patcher an error message comes up that says
"There was an error opening minecraft.jar. This may be because:
-The file has already been patched.
-There was an update that this patcher cannot handle.
-There is another, conflicting mod applied.
-The jar is invalid or corrupt.
You can re-download the original minecraft.jar by deleting your minecraft/bin folder and running the game normally.
Please see log window for more details."
Then a little window shows up that is named log that says:"No classes match for StillLava No classes match for StillWater No classes match for compass."
Tha patcher has nothing is the browsers and when I try to browse the original it gives me the sames error messages above and when I try to add the texture pack it says a ton of stuff I cant copy and it does nothing.it says
at java.awt. alot before each line
FYI, I am no longer sure the weird glitches with corrupted HD fonts is a Modloader problem. I've noticed it before when using Optimine - and since 1.3_01, even using MCPatcher alone.
EDIT: My mistake possibly on the "MCPatcher alone" problem. I can't seem to reproduce this now.

Texture pack with 32x32 settings, no boxes checked

Default textures with same settings

Any help would be great, Thanks :smile.gif:

Retired Staffthats Jadoku http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=1021&t=140755&start=90 it's a version of dokus' RPG pack by Jademalo.
No it's not. That's my own version of Doku's pack.
Also, do 256x256 textures actually work? It gives me a @ Pre render
1281: Invalid value
when trying to run the game.

Yea I am getting the same thing (my error message is on page 84 somewhere)
